It’s a safety issue and required by every track event I’ve attended. It’s so they can pull you out of the car if you get knocked out in a crash and catch on fire.

I worked with Pete@Showstopper. Good guy to work with. There are many variations with color schemes. Google "Showstopper Accessories" for their website. Took me a awhile to look at all I could find and finally decided. I installed myself (not really mechanically inclined) with the right tools and patience. Others had issues with breaking tabs and such but I was lucky enough not to.

Took a drive to the coast, Newport Oregon. Ate at my favorite seafood restaurant, Local Ocean.
Had to start off with two oyster shooters (yummy!) and then a plate full of deliciousness...tuna mignon.

And we use hand signals to "point by" and let others know if we're pulling off track, etc. So we gotta get our arms out the window.

Installed the Borla Type-S axle-back on the Z06. Damn it was hot today in Austin.
Generates some nice new notes that she didn't before while at the same time not attracting every cop for miles around.
A pricey mod for the improvement in sound as an x-pipe probably comes close in sound for 1/4 the price but I don't want to tempt GM to void my warranty by doing the Borla catless x-pipe. Of course nobody says they'll ignore the axle-back.
No pics as I buttoned her up right after dark.
