Safety Car
Installed a throttle controller . . .
I know Vitesse is really popular here, but on my A8 the very low-speed surging with the Vitesse (like around a parking lot) really bugged me. I know I could easily change settings when needed, but I generally like to tweak something and leave it. So I removed it.
When I had a different car, Sprint Booster was the popular choice of the forum. Just for fun, I tried the latest version (Sprint Booster V3). Same installation as Vitesse, but you don't need to calibrate. The unit itself is REALLY small, but easy to use. My preference is to set and forget.
They seem to have added a controlled tip-in, so no low speed surge at all. I do really like the effect. No real downside to the unit, a few more settings that I might need, and it's pretty small, but really like it.

Burning Brakes
At 27,600 miles got oil change #4. It’s the first one I had to pay for, about $84. Compare that to a Mercedes, Porsche or Jaguar dealer oil change. Had brake pads checked, after 21 months I still have 45-50% left.
And last but not least...I had a nail in my left rear tire, while I didn’t have any pressure loss, the nail was about a inch through the outer tread. Had to get a new tire. Thanks to wheel and tire insurance, a $360 tire cost me $1.50 plus mounting and balancing. The buck-fifty for New Jersey new tire tax. Total bill for Corvette Stingray maintenance $133.05, about a third of what I expected. That’s a good day!

Replaced both cargo and license plate bulbs with LEDs...
These pure white LEDs (5500K / 54 lumens) from Diode Dynamics match the LED map light color perfectly (no blueish tint) and are brighter than the OE incandescent bulbs...I wouldn't want them any brighter than this....
Diode Dynamics HP3 (56 lumens) Pure White LEDS

Guys,
Tonight I installed these trunk/hatch Carbon Fiber side pieces! Installed myself and only took about 30 minutes total. There is no good way to photograph the entire hatch, so I hope you can enjoy these multiple pictures. These 2 side pieces now go with and match the center rear piece I received a few weeks back. The trunk/hatch is now done!

I used 5500K LEDs (pure white) and the rear trunk LEDs match perfectly with the OE map LEDs...
Edit: I just checked and the OE foot well LEDs in my '18 are they appear to be the same color as the OE LED Map lights and perfectly match new the LED trunk lights I just added (pure white / 5500K)...All my LEDs in the cabin now are a consistent color now (5000~5500K / pure white) with no bluish tint to them...So I'm going to leave as is....
