Installed a Borla 60547 on the Z. Makes great music with the Borla axle back that I already have.

When I bought the car in Feb 2017 I actually sold the same damn pipe off my '14 because I convinced myself I didn't "need" to jack with the exhaust. Oh well, just like every other car I've ever owned I "have" to tweak the exhaust for sound.

Reminded when I lived in NE OH along Lake Eire and parked my 260Z for the winter. The person I admired was a neighbor who drove his old mint condition GTO in the winter with all that salt! However in the summer he had the car jacked up with bumpers, wheels and many parts removed and was cleaning and rustproofing everywhere he could access!

Nothing, Absolutely nothing. It is in a warm dry garage in Virginia while I am in cold, damp and sunless Germany. Three weeks down and only one week to go before I can even see it.

Installed a carbon fiber overlay over the center console. Finally found a product that is a 100% match to the gloss dash surround. Same color and size and weave of carbon fiber. It is real carbon fiber, thin that you glue to your existing part. Perfect fit except it is not cut out for the Grand Sport emblem so I went with a C7R one. It is from

^^^ Nice !!!

So YOU did the laminating of the CF to your existing parts ??? From the pics, I assume that to be the case.

Yes, They are a perfect overlay fit. Just mixed up the shown epoxy for plastics and spread it over the existing part. I taped the edges just to be sure there was no lifting and let it dry overnight. Seems to be a very tight bond.

I painted the wheel barrels gloss black on both my C7Z and a C6 GS I had. They are easier to clean and the black sets off the chrome.

Other than that I picked up my C7Z from the dealer today for an ECM replacement after a a "Reduced Engine Power" fault (P16F3 code). The dealer said it was the first one he has seen.

Haven't driven the C7 in 4-days. I office out of my home and drive my other vehicles to keep them "exercised," so the C7 does not always get chosen to drive. The C7 is calling me........
