17 Stingray WGG 2LT. I am totally in love with this car. I find myself getting up at 5:00 am to ride around before work, and then taking the long way home. Do other people experience odd behavior after purchasing a Corvette?

Yep, after 3 years I really don't like taking the wife's SUV the 16 miles into town instead of the Vette! Occasionally have to if needing to carry large items etc. Still look forward to taking the wide open rural back roads with the Vette.

When I saw the title of this thread, thought you were a runner and a 5AM run is normal. Getting up early to just drive around, questionable behavior!

Good time to let her loose that's when the troopers/cops return to the station to change shifts. Meaning less cops!

I'm with you. I put way more miles on my C7 this summer than I ever would have expected. But a run to the store that should be 8 miles typically turned into a 20 mile trip. And skipped the local coffee shops for a great independent shop . . . that was 35 miles away, but a beautiful drive down the St. Croix winter. Making up for it now as it's sitting for it's 4-5 month rest in the garage.

YEP!
Favorable weather here in Ohio yesterday. Went to the bank yesterday which is about a mile away and ended up with it being a 20 mile trip!

Still in love 3 years and 33K later!

One beautiful Saturday morning, back in 2004, I had to run a few errands and decided to take my recently purchased Z16, the errands were local, should have been about a 30 minute out and back.

Well, after picking up my dry cleaning in Port Washington (North shore of Long Island) I found myself a couple of hours later in Southampton and then Montauk.

So yes, I get it, any reason to drive the car

Sounds great.
Make sure the roads aren't damp and your tires are warm.

I did try this, but the seat back wouldn't recline quite far enough.
