It really did take awhile for the C7 to grow on me, so much so that I purchased Jaguar F-Type over it initially.
I didn't like it at first, but today I really don't understand why. I've done a 180 turn on the looks, including the rear end, which I initially couldn't stand.

That does continue to amaze me, until the C7, that C6 was the best car I ever drove or owned. By far.

It's the C6 vert that I still find most appealing. The form follows function, no "style flaps/slots/ridges," and the rear bubble is eliminated and replaced by a proper rag lid for a sports car. Beautiful simplicity.
But: I have driven a couple of the ne cars and found them to be truly inspiring! On looks alone, my personal preference is still the 6vert.

Is that a Z51 coupe? Are the winter tires the same size as the summer and if not what size are they and do I have to do anything else to the car to go to a smaller wheel/tire package in the winter months?

One major plus with the chrome wheels is they seemed to **** off my NJ car **** pals who own BMWs and Porsches. The black wheels don't do that.

C6 = plain compared to the C6 ( some might say the C6 is cleaner )
C7 - much rakier than a C6
Foosh, I can see why you choose the VERT as it addresses the roof line issues, ie: back quarter glass and small back window.

The C6 looks dated compared to the C7 which will look dated I'm sure when the C8 comes out.

The Chrome wheels/tires are 18"-19" Gumby wheels from my 2009 C6 ( previous pic ) and they bolt right on, plug and play.
The 18"-19" tires are the original version Michelin Pilot Sport A/S ZP's and not the new A/S3+ .
With either one though, the overall tire outside diameter is the same as 19"-20" Z51 tires.
The reason the Gumby wheels fit/clear the brake calipers is the spokes are reverse concave, and bow out away from the calipers.
The Gumby style wheels came out late 2008, and earlier C6 Star wheels have Straight spokes and will not clear the calipers unless used with Spacers.
Gumby wheels are Forged and Star wheels are Cast.
The Base 18"-19" C7 Stingray wheels are Cast and will fit on the Z51 C7.
I'm sure there's other 18"-19" wheels that fit, but would have to check the shape of the spokes and offsets etc
