Default New Forgelines from CW4L installed

It finally got warm enough for me to install the Forgeline VX1 package that I bought from Gerry at CW4L. They are 19s/20s with 265-35/19s on the front and 305-30/20s on the rear. The tires are Pilot Super Sports. I was concerned that they did not stick out the fenders and they do not. The finish is brushed with clear.

I am very happy with how they look. Gerry was a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend that you give him a shot at your business if you are in the market for wheels.

Forgot to mention this in the original post. I weighed the stock wheels/tires and the new Forgeline wheels/tires.

The stock Z51 setup is 53 lbs. each front and 61.5 lbs. each rear.

The new Forgeline setup is 51 lbs. each front and 55.5 lbs. each rear.

Those look awesome! I just had my Corvette out today, and got a nail in the rear. I just know they're going to tell me they dont' want to repair it and just want to put new tires on... And I'm about to get different wheels too!

As long as it's not near the sidewall, it should be repairable.

It's more an issue of lack of tread.

All wheels are NOT created equal and beware of forged wheels being made overseas. Theres a reason we have withstood the test of time. Pay now or pay later!!
