Carbon Fiber center console

The factory does not supply a carbon fiber center console. If this is what you want, it would be an aftermarket piece.

^^^ Thanks for confirming. I wasn't 100% sure on this b/c I remembered one of my Old Man's vehicles having CF there. I just wasn't sure if it was the Z06 or his BMW.

I find them on ebay all the time from $299 to $595, it says it is a OEM part and new. Here is one I found fairly quickly http://www.ebay.com/itm/Corvette-C7-...hXFBGp&vxp=mtr
Good luck.
Good luck.

For full disclosure - realize that ALL of these aftermarket parts use the original factory piece and then either hydrocarbon treat it or apply a thin carbon fiber laminate. It's all cosmetic - NONE of it is full structural carbon fiber. For my money the good hydrocarbon stuff looks VERY good - since it's all cosmetic anyway I could easily live with that. Anyone who gets "uppity" about "real carbon fiber" is just plain silly to me - you've got a "real carbon fiber LAMINATE". THIS is what real carbon fiber looks like - to the tune of a $5000 frame.

Didn't realize the Carbon dash option did not include the console. So the question is, if I had already ordered my car with the carbon dash, how close is the match with these after market products? Not sure if the option was for a real carbon dash or it's just a carbon flash paint, the Chevy site is a bit lacking on details, but anyone know if the color, grain direction, size, and finish is the same or completely different?

GM now offers matte and gloss, and so do the vendors, so make sure you specify that when you order.
Just a note, ask Greg to send you pictures of both sides of the actual unit he will sending you and make sure there are no extra holes or other crap and that it looks as good as the pristine core you will be sending back.

APSIS stuff is top drawer, but costs four arms and eight legs. You can check with Greg @ Autodymamicswest.com as his stuff is pretty good. Both vendors match the GM CF exactly. For the center console, you not only need the console, but the waterfall, which is the part below the console also. So when you combine the costs of both parts, you are going to have sticker shock and your wallet is going to be emptied. You can get the console with or without the aluminum trim around the shiftier. I preferred mine without.
