I was at the factory and museum on 6/12/17 and there was a CE waiting for museum pickup. This was about a week after the turn over to 2018 production. I figured it could be the last CE. I took pictures if you are interested. But I didn't want to post someone else's car if I shouldn't

Luke, that was car 940, it was the last car. There was a post about it earlier. Shouldn't be a problem to post pics, it was in a public place :-)

Fantastic pic right there.
I finally got a chance to follow behind my GSCE with the wife driving, I knew it was gorgeous, but man do they ever look nice while in motion at that angle.
I now realize why people hang out in my blind spot lol

edited: wanted to add that this pic I now my wallpaper, sorry for stealing it, I have the same car

Proud new owner of #535 checking in!

I picked it up on 6/29 @ Hendrick Chevrolet in Duluth, GA, and drove it home to Rock Hill, SC. This is my 4th Vette, and first new one since a 2010 JSB Grand Sport. Great being back in the saddle again! As a total nut for blues, silvers, and gunmetal/gray cars (and Vettes in general), I absolutely went nuts for the Collectors Edition when it was unveiled. I'm not sure how GM could have made a Vette any more "me"! Hell, it's been the background on my cell phone that I've stared at daily since the first pics came out.

Anyways...it took me all year and some help from year-end specials to make it happen. As the handful of manual-equipped CEs started drying up, I got nervous and finally took the plunge. After a weekend including lots of layers of Zaino...here she is!

Mine is a 7-Speed Manual car, with Competition Seats. Does not have Z07. MSRP was $83,320.

Just starting to look back through the listings of what is still for sale out there, will try to get things updated. Right now it shows 356 at dealers, but I'm sure that number will come down once I'm done. The lowest number one I had at a dealer still shows for sale though, it's #27 at Holz Motors in Wisconsin! I don't think they sell a lot of convertibles there, they may have that one for a while :-)

This suggests that roughly 1/3 of total production of the 2017 C7 collectors edition models remain unsold. Is this correct?

Anyone aware of leftover 2017 collector edition models currently being sold at a discount?

Haven't made it back through them all yet, distracted by that work thing :-). You can see on the listings I have the "Date Seen" field which I update every time I click on the link for the website of the dealer to verify that it is still there. If it is, then I keep it as for sale with a Y and revise the dates. All of the cars with a Y were seen within the last 2 months I think.

So yes, there are still quite a few for sale as there are 2017 Corvettes in general. They are not discounted any differently than the ton of 2017 Corvettes that are sitting at dealers as far as I can see.

MacMulkin has 3 collector editions at roughly $10k off msrp on their website.

Beautiful CE...Looks awesome with the Z06 taillights! I had the same thought until I saw the pricetag, plus not sure I'd be comfortable removing the rear bumper cover for the install, either.

If you don't mind saying, where did you get your emblem overlays? I've wanted to cover the red portion of the Grand Sport logo on the front fender as well.
