Was looking at one this morning with a sticker price of $85,000.00. The one big complaint I have, why don't they paint the stripes on the hood? Sorry, but to me the decal looks too tacky. It would look more professional if painted, just my opinion. I now have a C6 GS CE with 6600 that i'm looking to trade in possibly on the 017 GS CE which is a great looking car. But i have to get at least $40,000. for it. Anyone know if that's possible? Thanks

If you don't mind saying, where did you get your emblem overlays? I've wanted to cover the red portion of the Grand Sport logo on the front fender as well.
I cut out the Chevy logo from it because I personally think it looks sharper that way but you can get them here:

Hi there.

I'm the proud owner of #767, Coupe, Automatic - Redwood Shores, California.

I relocated to California, USA in June 2016 (from South Africa) and have always had a dream of owning a Corvette (from way back when I was 15yrs old).

Now I am living my dream in the USA!!

I just bought a sheet of a very comparable blue vinyl, placed it over the red, and cut around it. Same with my door sill plates (obviously not visible in the picture)

I think you should take a picture or 20 up close. We would love to see them.

All Grand Sports have decals for the fender and hood stripes. It is unfortunate in some folks mind, but certainly can be done after you get it.

I'm not sure if folks in this specific forum would know about how much you might get for your C6, you may want to post that in the C6 forum?

It's similar to what Archie Hamilton did to his logos in the UK in that one video I think....

Was out of town for business. Saw a few new ones get posted, I've updated the registry. If I missed anything, let me know. There are a couple more used ones on the list now as well.

Nice shot!

And yes, I did. I'm happy with how it came out, just not ready to post yet :-) Will in a few weeks, with the details, I think.

Nice work Jarrod.

The sill plates, you did the same thing, just purchased the vinyl and did the cutout? Freehand, or machine/computer cut like the way they did it for Archie (take a picture, move to the computer, etc)?
