I’m doing 20% off of my remaining 5 CE’s. That includes Chevy loyalty. Ajohnson@matickchevy.com or 734-365-3651 direct.

I found out the setup fee, which will include a sample stitching of the product will be $70. I'm in the UK now so when I get back I'll try to move forward with that but I want to visit them and pick out the stitching color in person and get an idea about pricing of hats and other stuff.

My plan would be to collect orders from folks up front,
the cost of the stuff would be passed on of course with no additional cost other than shipping and spreading out the cost of the $70 setup across all the orders. I'll try to estimate that but the cost will go down based on the more that order.

I'll PM folks that expressed interest once I get that sorted, feel free to PM if you're interested and haven't mentioned here.

This would be embroidered stuff, so once it was setup it could be embroidered on shirts like a polo shirt or others, I'll ask about those options...

Hi Ken, I see you are in the UK for a while...did you or anyone hear anything back from the NCM regarding hats / shirts / jackets ???

Just a heads up mountaineers. Car number 714 from Dueck Chevrolet in Vancouver b c was sold to a local buyer. They wouldn't tell me any more info than that.
Nice work on the "collectors edition" logo for the hats and shirts. Count me in as a funding support or for purchasing some "swag".

Tell me - how many oil changes for the G S Collector? I thought only two, but I was looking back on here, found where 5 oil changes are covered.

Break-In Oil Change for Corvette Included in Chevrolet Complete Care Program
January 22, 2015

2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

Fig 1

A new mileage interval has been established for the first engine oil change on 2014-2015 Corvette Stingray models with the Z51 Performance Package and Z06 models. These vehicles are equipped with an engine featuring a dry sump oil system. The first oil change should take place at 500 miles (800 km) on these vehicles.

If the vehicle is driven continuously at a high engine speed with the first factory oil fill, silicone sealants in the engine’s gaskets may degrade the anti-foaming properties of the oil. This may lead to oil leaking out from the air cleaner assembly due to the oil foaming condition. The oil foam does not affect the engine’s durability, but changing the oil at 500 miles will help prevent oil foaming in the future because the silicone sealants are removed with the original oil.

Shown below (Fig. 2) is the:

A. Dry sump engine oil tank fill cap

B. Engine oil dipstick

C. Engine air cleaner/filter

2015 "LT4" 6.2L V-8 AFM VVT DI SC (LT4) for Chevrolet Corvette Z

Fig 2

Once the break-in oil change is performed and the Oil Life Monitor is reset, owners should follow the Oil Life Monitoring system for all future oil change needs.

TIP: Only use Mobil 1 when performing an oil change on any Corvette under the Chevrolet Complete Care program.

An additional oil change has been added to the required maintenance schedule. Up to five oil changes are now covered as part of the Chevrolet Complete Care program, which covers 2 years/24,000 miles (40,000 km in Canada) of select required maintenance.

A second printing of the 2015 Owner Manual is being updated with this change.

– Thanks to Jeff Strausser

Actually...it's three for the dry sump cars like our GS, starting with 2017s. The 500mi change, then two more, within first two years of ownership.

Here is a picture of the hats I had done at my local embroiderer. Also did a shirt as well.

Alan, I have called you, emailed you, and mentioned you twice on Facebook and have received no response. I was inquiring on the CE. Name is Darren. If you don't want to do business that's fine, there are other dealers out there with CE's still for sale that would gladly take my money.

Actually received a response today.

Everything they do has to be licensed. The Grand Sport license will not allow them to use blue stitching, they believe the hat that Tadge had was custom made for him.

They said previous Grand Sport C7 merchandise was not heavily ordered but they are bringing in some new stuff and will check into doing some embroidery stuff.

I also received a note from Tammy today. Same response.

Here is what she said;

Ed,
Thank you for your email. I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I have been out of the office. Due to licensing guidelines the Grand Sport C7 emblem cannot be embroidered using the blue thread. I believe this was done specially for Tadge. I am checking to see if it is possible to offer Grand Sport C7 merchandise with the color combination embroidered.

We do offer multiple Grand Sport C7 items https://corvettestore.com/catalogsea...&q=grand+sport . However, we are in the process of bringing in some new Grand Sport C7 merchandise. Keep watch on our store website www.corvettestore.com for the new product.

Well it looks like I'm late to this party. Purchased our CE in late September from McCurley Chevrolet in Pasco, though I live in Kennewicnk, badge #551
MSRP was $86,910 but paid much less. The car is not the Z07 package but has both the Z16 & Z25 package which I assume was standard for th CE.
I had SunTek applied rather than Xpel as it has a better shine to it and is suppose to be self healing, meaning that small cuts from rocks are suppose to reseal once left in the sun, we will see.
Absolutely love the car and wish the cold weather would leave, fat chance, so I could get it out for a ride. I am aware that a snow tire is now available but as of today, no AS available but hoping next yr or two they will be as we drive our cars yr round.
