Loaded with 3LT Z07 performance package, auto transmission. I believe it only has the stage 1 front splitter, side skirt and spoiler.
Comes with 2 roofs, also comes with genuine Corvette vehicle cover. Dealership has dropped the price drastically
from $83K to now $67683. Do you all think this is a steal or is there more bargain to be made.
I had experience some Rip Off salesmen today.
That car shows as an MSRP of $93,535 with the following options:
  • C2Q Body-color dual roof package - $1,995
  • ERI Battery protection package - $100
  • TTV Spoiler and mirrors carbon-flash painted - $100
  • VK3 front license plate bracket - $40
  • VRX LPO car cover - $435

They have it listed on their website as $82,988.

The price you are showing of $67,683 is 27.6% off MSRP which is more off MSRP than I'm seeing many of the used ones going for on the registry.

Seems like a strong deal to me. I haven't seen a lot of talk about how it is to deal with that particular dealership on the forums, so can't speak much to that, but the deal seems good assuming it has what you want.

As you noted, it does not have any ground effects package on it. That of course can be added with GM or after market parts if you desire.

By the way, I looked up the delivery on that car, it was delivered to the National Corvette Museum in February, so it was a Museum Delivery Car. Looks like you took delivery at the dealership though, do you know the story there? That is a $990 option you didn't get to take advantage of it seems like.

Should be a badge on the drivers door showing it as an R8C car and you have some perks that go with it.

Thanks for looking up the info. Now this is crazy I was just over the dealership yesterday price was at 67K and now they bump the price back up to 83K
What the heck, do you think dealership will still honor the 67K pricing even though I won't any anything in writing.

Doesn't explain the museum delivery part and he transposed his numbers I guess....not 953 built, 935. But I like to nit pick :-) I think there were fewer verts than that with comp seats too...but certainly could be wrong on that one, museum should be able to tell though.

Anything 21% or more off msrp is a great deal imho. I saw one 24.5% off a 110K Z06 last year but that was the lowest one-only left over. You really can't go wrong with 20%+ off. Good luck.

Yeah when I bought my about a month ago there was rebate $7500,
NFC discount $9500, and loyalty cash of $3000. Was a no brainer for me, $20,000 discount on a New Corvette.

It's been awhile since I posted on this topic. If anyone remembers, I was on the fence on getting a 2017 CE way back in February and wound up getting a souped up 2LT, which essentially looks like a red version of the CE minus the 3LT package and exclusive perks that come with the CE.

Just wanted to congratulate this thread and mountainears for doing some outstanding follow up on this vehicle as it approaches its 1000th post.

Cool, congrats again.

I would ask the dealer for a VIS report on that car just so you have any service history since it does look like it was museum delivered, even though it was not new. Someone ordered that car with museum delivery and then backed out or refused. I would want to know why and also if you can take advantage of any of the museum delivery benefits since you own it new. Might be worth checking with the museum as well.

That's prompts an interesting question...what DOES happen to the car when a customer orders a car for museum delivery, then backs out of the deal beyond the point the initial order can be cancelled? Obviously, the dealer is still on the hook for the car, but the process for how that plays out would be interesting to hear.
