2017 Grand Sport Collectors Edition Owners Thread

@olblue75, nice pickup from another CF member, good to see it stay around in the forums.
All the Tension Blue stuff on the outside is done with decals, no official GM paint code. If you're looking to paint some stuff on the car, then it will have to be color matched. There are some colors that pinstripe folks use that are very close (process blue is one) and people have found a few film mfg's that have colors that are very close as well, they are listed in the first post of this thread.

I've also sourced out a 3M premium film that is almost an exact match. It's called Olympic Blue # 1016 from Vinylstriping.com.
PPG paint # again is 922601.
and again, DON'T By any carbon fiber products from "trufiber"

Oh, and for the guy who wants tension blue shift paddles, it won't happen, BUT you can get pre cut Stick on blue for $ 19.99 from CORVETTEMODS.COM., not the best customer service but they have them. They are shown in my avatar.

Hi.... I used the Olympic Blue vinyl and made matching hash marks for my new Silverado and also used the pinstripe vinyl to accent the black center stripe on the GSCE. Works well and is really close in color

I think I'm done with my Tension Blue Mods (Exterior) I have some inside in progress. Here are some Pix. Pinstripe Hood around Carbon Fiber Vinyl, Blue pinstripe sides, Fuel Cover, Rear brake intake (I have carbon Fiber film over the Black area as well (No rock chips here, peel off and replace) Upside down NIKE swoosh on fender. Blue in grill, 3rd brake light "Grand Sport" in Blue, and a wide Blue wrap over top of windshield.
Blue Blue and more blue
Carbon Fiber Vent, Carbon film, Tension Blue stripe and the air intake underneath is painted red on the inside.
Grill Tension Blue stripes inside, and pin stripe on splitter
Blue 3rd brake light, oh I forgot Blue wheel trim.

Lloyd Mats makes them in a number of colours but nothing I've found specifically for the Collector Edition. (https://www.lloydmatsstore.com/featu...icles/corvette) They have number of colors and designs - anything from personalized to the Grand Sport logo to Corvette Racing, Jake etc. Also available on eBay, Amazon etc.

I don't have 375 in the used listings though, I'll try to look that one up when I return from my trip and get it on the listings.

Headliner
Anyone having issues with the headliner coming loose from the roof?
MIne is probably 10% loose/hanging down; in the center at the back. I can see the roof panel underneath it.
All this ankle biter stuff is beginning to get old.

Burning Brakes
Anyone do any performance modifications yet? I just scheduled an appointment in early October for the following:
- Kooks headers
- Kooks xpipe (no cats)
- Tony Mamo ported/polished TB
- Tune
I already have a Vararam intake, so I am hoping (fingers crossed) it hits the 500hp to the wheels mark. I have seen just the headers, xpipe, intake, tune get around 490 so hopefully the TB will push it over. My luck it will be 499. Going to be a completely different car and way more fun to drive and track.

There's been quite a bit, especially if you look across all of the GS' in the forum and not just GSCE's. Some are not as willing to do stuff until they are out of warranty to avoid the risk of warranty block. But I've seen quite a bit of stuff posted, including a supercharger on a GSCE that looked quite nice...

12,982 miles right now.
30k miles will give me enough seat time to be ready for more hp.
Currently do at least 5 track days per year. This year 2 at Roebling. 2 at VIR, 2 days at Daytona November 30/December 1st.
