In any case, one of these two is your new ride :-)

Yes, # 97 is my car, noted on the service cards from the facility mechanics. All of the vinyl graphics were removed before sale.
YouTube poster Eddy Joe has video from car #05 showing #97 in the background.
Thanks for the picture!

That's cool, nice you know which one! I bet now you can find some folks that drove that car and probably bought pictures of it on the track too....get some nice shots of it on their track. I know Bill in the Facebook group posted some pictures of him on the track, but he was in #05.

Just finished up our latest product. Airbrushed collector edition sill plates. Pardon the white car as a sample pic, that's all I had at the shop at the moment.

Hello Pete,
I think the sill plates look fantastic. Way to go. Do they replace the factory sill plates or are they an overlay? If replacements, how do you remove the factory plates? When will they be available and what is the cost? A really tastefully done design. Congratulations!

They are overlays to make the install easy. I wanted to make them user friendly. We are currently taking orders on them now. I'm not sure if forum rules allow me to post pricing here. So if you are interested shoot me a pm.

GSCE sold at Mecum Auction today in Dallas.

Went for $80k. Haven't been able to find which number it was, they don't post the VIN, if anyone uncovers that, let me know. Seems they paid a bit of a premium for it if you ask me....but auctions do that to people.

If it doesn't jump you to the spot, loop ahead to 24:28.

Yea, that's where I kind of found out about it, or got as many details as I could. Just didn't show the number anywhere or the VIN....

Default CT and Western, Mass GS CE Owners

Does anyone on here have a CE GS and live in the CT/Western Mass area? There a few of these left on the market and I am considering trading in my Stingray to get one but would love to see it in person before I buy sight unseen. Anyone willing to meet up and show me their car? Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Garrett

I don't know the geography of that area that well but there is one Grand Sport Registry member (not sure if they are on here) one in Bridgewater, CT. Then another probably not on here in Assonet, MA. Finally there is CF member CT Grand Sport CE in Sherman, CT. The one in Assonet is a vert, the other two coupes. The Bridgewater one is a M7.

The CF member you can PM, the other two, if they are close, I can try to relay via email if you want.

Hi Ken, Couldn't find it at 24:28, I had to scroll ahead to 7:09:54.....nicely equipped and only 77 miles on it so maybe that's why it went at $80K?

Interesting, I will be near Bridgewater this weekend actually as I grew up in that part of the state and will be visiting family. If you don't mind reaching out that would be really cool. I will PM you my contact details.

If I was around this weekend I would meet up with you, but I am leaving on a business trip in a few days and won’t be back until the end of the month.

Ah, perhaps another time. My family is from Brookfield so I am in town often, or can be at least. Safe travels.

I may be able to meet up with you if you are in the area, depending on the weather.

Hi corvette forum,
i put a deposit on #465 and saw it was one of the GM allotted vehicles. It has about 8000 miles on it and was driven for only about 5 or 6 months. Is this something I should be concerned about? Also after closer inspection there are two or three scrapes on the front spoiler and a small crack next to one of the scrapes. Now I'm thinking about backing out of this deal. I kinda really wanted a convertible. Any thoughts appreciated.
thanks.
Ross

I was talking to the dealer about the same one, lol.

They were pressuring me to put a deposit down and I'm glad you beat me to it now, I got a really nice one lined up.

Don't worry about the scrapes on the front spoiler. I replaced my original plastic spoiler with the carbon fiber one and I scrape the bottom almost every time I take the car out. I had two small cracks as well. Almost all the C7 in my Corvette group have some kind of scrapes or cracks in the front spoiler. That thing is so low to the ground. It's not expensive to replace so I wouldn't worry about that. 8000 miles should be "like new" condition but will let others comment on it.

Thanks,
I was really concerned that it was driven for only five or six months and had almost 8000 miles so I was curious as to what it was used for being a GM car. Also I don't want to drive 500 miles to pick up a car and then be surprised considering I am trading in my F type Jaguar all wheel drive. Any other gsce c7's anyone know of close to Maryland I would be interested in looking at?
