There is no way I can wait until the warranty expires. I only put on 4-5K a year and that wait's just too long. Overall I haven't seen many catastrophe issues although there will be some. I'd like to do a procharger down the road but, this extra power should be sufficient for a while and make a nice difference on the track.

I want to do Daytona, maybe next year. This year I ran the Charlotte "roval" twice and I am doing a Carolina Motorsports Park in September. Next year I'd also like to do Road Atlanta. Road Atlanta and Daytona are up there on my list.

Default Vinyl Decal application advice

Does anyone have advice for applying vinyl stickers to vents and sills. I have the decals that match the Tension Blue stripes. It looks tricky given the raised OEM trim on Vent "Grand Sport" and the Sills. Cutting with razor blade vs. scissors? spray water first? things to avoid? Am I over thinking this mod?

I always use the soapy water method for applying vinyl, as I did with both the fender and sill decals on the GS. I use a small spray bottle with car wash soap mixture, spray the panel as well as the back of the decal before applying (helps keep it from sticking to my finger). Then apply the decals (one letter at a time) over the soapy water, carefully line it up and push/squeegee out the water and any air bubbles and then let dry overnight. Be patient in the case of overlays, as placing a decal that is nearly the exact same size as the object you are covering can be tedious. Not hard by any means, just tedious. For overlays like these, I come back the next day and hit them with a heat gun (hair dryer also works) to wrap the vinyl around the slight raised edges. With a little heat, the vinyl will shrink right around the rounded edges. That part isn't really necessary on the sill decals, but helps with the side fender overlays.

Road rash. I'd be really surprised if that's covered under warranty

Is the damage on the leading edge of the spoke?

There is no chipping to faces, only the flat spoke side. The dealership agreed those shouldn't look like that after 3500 miles. They are submitting the pictures to GM rep and trying to get them covered.

At 12,000 mi. mine look pitted. Why can't they make some that lasts????? #663 '17 GSCE
I've had lots of Chrome over the years, Crager SP? MAGS on my '70 GTO, but they all seemed to start to rust
around the nuts and I had to give Black a try. I give up....and I don't track mine it's a simple life daily driver.

Meet Bolt (my daughter suggested that name and I love it). So excited to own this beast! Of course, I'm sure you all know exactly how I feel.

Its a shame that an 80K+ sports car has such shitty paint. My 2011 terrain with 75k miles, the wheels look like they just came from the paint booth. I had a used 2014 z51 and the wheels were pitted too. 3500 miles and wheels look like that already.

Took it to the dealer, they said their regional guy said that there have been several of these [C7s] reported lately. They ordered a new headliner for mine.
