Safety Car
We recently added onto our house and we had this room built. It is 22 feet long and 12 feet wide. We put shelves the entire length of the room. I have collected Lionel trains for many years and had them in boxes in storage. I wanted to get them out and display them. I also have my jukebox and slot machines in the room as well. Thanks for the kind words. Kind of my man cave but my wife loves the room as well.

Hope so!
I figured that would be a size I could do just about anything I want to do. Better to have more room than I need than less. My wife said this, what a great wife. She loves the trains and she loves doing the scenery, we have about 200 Dept. 56 building to use on the layout.

^^^ There must be a killer train layout in that room. How about some pictures?

Old layout, currently being reconstructed.

layout
Actually I don't have a layout in the room. That is where I keep and display them. I am actually having a 40 x 40 foot building being built on the rear of my property and that will house my layout. Should be done in a couple months.

Thanks
Trains are mesmerizing. I too have been involved with them since I was a kid. I don't think I will ever tire of looking at them collecting them and still riding them whenever I can. I have a 45 RPM record in my jukebox I love, The wreck of the old 97, Johnny Cash.
