Hey guys I am looking at stepping up to a used z06.
Trouble is it is yellow and it's not my favourite.
Currently I have a '15 Z51 in Laguna Blue.
Help me love the yellow.
Maybe what can I do to tone it down a bit?
Tint, strips, ?

I think yellow is a color you have to love to enjoy it. Otherwise you'll regret it.

If you're on the fence, then I highly recommend getting a color that you like. If you're in the market for a Z, certainly there has to be others to be had in a similar price range, or maybe color isn't that important. If so, go for it.

BTW, toning down yellow will be no easy task.

Yellow has a couple of major advantages. Although when it is all washed and shiny, it looks best however, the rest of the time, ordinary dirt really doesn't show. I got my C7 new in August and still have not washed it and it looks good. Yellow is also easy to find in parking lots. This is my second yellow Corvette and I really like the color, but it is certainly not for everyone.

Yeah, I love yellow. Pretty sure I can't help you love it though. I suppose you could wrap the car any color you like.

I really like yellow but as stated above it's a color you need to love! I came very close to buying a yellow GS it came done to a coin toss yellow won and my wife seconded guested deciding based on a coin toss this was enough of an response to make my decision to go with Blue!

Don't settle on color...too much money at stake...sucks that these cars depreciate...AND to pay the depreciation on a car that you don't really like the color on = FAIL.

I agree with the idea that if you have any hesitation, don't go with a yellow car. For me it was the color that I wanted but unless you feel that way you won't be happy. You have to look at it every day.

I like yellow, but if it is not a color you really like, find a different car that is a color you like. No use spending a large sum of cash for something you don't care for.

Maybe use this opportunity to get a professional wrap done in whatever color you darn well please. It won't be yellow to you.

If you don't love the color, I would suggest not doing the deal. Regret in a car purchase is expensive. I just turned down a great deal on a grey Hellcat. Paid a bit more for the color I wanted but will never look at it and say.... eh the color will grow on me.
