Photos really do NOT do this color any justice. I've seen several on dealers' lots, and regardless of how much sunlight there is, it always POPS!
Still, it is one of those colors that I think we knew was doomed from the start. It's close enough to silver that I don't think they should both be offered at the same time. (and no way should we do away with silver!!!)
It's been discontinued, so if having a rare color is of any importance to you whatsoever, it could be a good color to own.

If I remember right the cut off date to order was around 2-20-2017. Check with dealer or do search to verify date. Only reason I didn't order was because I have yet to see Sterling blue with Twilight Blue interior. I'm hoping blue interior will bring out the blue in Sterling Blue. As for limited color I actually like that idea and if I get one with Twilight Blue interior it will be even more limited. Extra bonus is my wife loves the color and she agreeing to spend this amount of money on a new corvette . She's happy & I'm happy. If we can't find one in spring our second choice is Blade Silver with Spice Red or Twilight Blue interior. I will be happy with either color combo.

Lamborghini has a similar color on the Aventador (http://www.fckerbecklamborghini.com/...-roadster.htm) I don't think it's feminine. It's essentially Silver with a hint of blue. Very sharp. With that said....I still like Silver best.

I took the factory tour in June and saw a Sterling Blue vert with a blue top on the floor. I thought it was absolutely gorgeous. Then, two months later saw a coupe next to a Blade Silver at a dealer close to me. The colors looked very similar in the shade. In the direct sunlight it was more like a light baby blue. I own a Carmine Red C5 vert. That color only had a one year run as a vert. See the Sterling in person before buying and if it's for you, you will have the pleasure of owning a color that had less than a full year run.

The attention the car gets from the ladies is 10 fold what I was getting with my Arctic White C6. Chicks absolutely love this color and it gets their attention. Yesterday, I watched a girls jaw literally drop when she had seen my car. I'm pretty sure she sprained her neck as she drove by. Yes, there are more masculine colors, if you like to impress the boys...
What I find interesting is that people who really don't like the SBM are really drawn to the Watkins Glen Grey.
Funny when I decided not to get a SB color that was seldom purchased thought I'd try white! Wife thinks the Black Rose, that I like, looks too much like my '93 Anniversary Vette, Ruby Red Metallic. Also had a plum Chevy in '67 and recall right after I washed and waxed, when I pulled into a as station someone said, "Bet that looks great when you wax it! It was a bit muddy and I had it painted silver!
We'll see why white is the most popular color-wife likes it!

Corvette ED Thanks for info I did see that they actually have to a GS coupe and I think other was a Z51.Interested in a GS the one I saw on there web site had a few options I'm not sure I need carbon fiber top ,and I think carbon fiber hood insert. It wouldn't make me walk away from car just not sure I want to pay for those options. Problem now is I have to trade or sell my 2004 with 17,000 miles and with snow on ground could be a pain doing deal now. Might give Mike a call and see if he has any SBM on order already that aren't on lot yet. Thanks again Dave

I put this up today:

I have 400 miles on the car, and have already got 3 compliments on the color. I describe it as 70% silver and 30% blue. Vettes come in so many different colors and wheel choices that you can make it look like whatever kind of car you want. I saw a Bugatti in this color combo 5 years ago and could not stop staring at it. To me, this color makes the C7 GS look like a $200k exotic car. I also love that its like Coastal Real Estate - they ain't makin any more of it.
