Default Holy BeJeezus!!!

Just passed my 500 mile break in on my GS and decided to romp on the throttle (I have been a very good boy up to this point). I know I am preaching to the choir here, but I just had a Devine experience. This thing is amazing!! I have had my share of muscle cars in my life, and am now on my 4th vette, but I have never driven anything with such power and throttle response. Made an appointment with my plastic surgeon for the morning to have botox injections in my cheeks to remove this smile from my face!!

I hit 500 miles on Monday myself and had the first service done at 505. This car is a giggle fest, I can't wait to get it on the track.

I know that EXACT feeling. For me it was the first time I passed another car. Not expecting the response when I floored it! Ended up way to fast . . . but what a rush!

I actually induced a spell of vertigo by accelerating a little too vigorously out of a corner.

I agree. Took my dad a ride in mine and hammered it a little. He has had big block Chevys in Chevelles and old pickup trucks and I've never heard him refer to those cars as being scary fast. Well, he called my Z51 scary fast - LOL

I agree, I have a H/C/I/E/G C6 LS2 and the LT1 is just a low RPM torque beast as stock. Although my LS2 comes on at 4500rpm till red line...

Yes, that extra .7 seconds to 60 is excruciating.

Can't wait to experience it myself. I think I'm happy that I'll be hitting that first 500 miles in the first day of driving, the next morning I have my oil change and I'll get to have the same experience :-) 1 week away!

Enjoy it.

I have tried keeping a container of lemons in the car to address the "continuing smile" problem, but they keep breaking through!
Never fails to amaze me!!!

Very impressive for sure. Mine is in storage for the winter. Can't wait for warm weather to show up here. Glad you like the acceleration. I know I sure do.
