Thanks for visiting with with the guys. The Callaway AeroWagen seemed to draw a constant crowd this morning, and lots of great compliments.

To each their own. Personally, and I'm a car lover and admire many models of all eras, but a shooting brake C7 is not my cup of tea

The view out that back window looks very limited. Not for me but certainly an attention getter.

While I might not be interested in that particular car...I tip my hat to the Callaway Group for doing this car. There is a reason cars are offered with different trim levels and colors. I know someone will purchase that Aerowagon and be tickled to death with it. So before you criticize Calloway think about the work that went into it....

Looks like it was designed by the Studio of the Pontiac Safari guy!

Thanks! Based on calls and feedback today, there seems to be quite a stir over the Callaway AeroWagen in a positive way. I'd have to say the opposition witnessed in this thread and some others, is not the majority, and certainly not what we experienced over the weekend, driving our car around Southern CA.

Thank you again for your post. You are right, a lot went into the AeroWagen, and the details of this carbon fiber hatch are pretty neat.

Chris,
It's the "ready...fire...aim" scenario, where folks react immediately and then re-think it.
Maybe if you put hidden headlights and round tail lights on it?????

I think it looks great but I've always loved these "Shooting Brake" cars (with the exception of the aforementioned Ferrari FF). The FF replacement is beautiful.

Jimmy

PS. I do think the original Stingray Aerowagon (the Silver one) looked better than a Z06/GS based car. The Stingray has more of the "Estate Wagon" look....all the vents and add on stuff of the GS/Z06 detracts from the look, IMHO.

Meh.

It looks like a Prius from behind with that spoiler in the middle of the window.
