Default Is this a Z51 or ZF1 ?

The owner is not sure. Based on the rims and rotors is looks like a Z51 to me. The owner just copied the dealers window sticker( not original) from when he purchased it last year. Thanks

I just ran a query on the VIN. The car is a Z51. Other features of note:
  • Dual-mode performance exhaust
  • Navigation
  • Chrome wheels
  • Translucent top
  • Sueded microfiber seat inserts
The car also has an open recall as follows:

2016007 Frontal Airbag And Pretensioner Non Deploy

Let me know if you need anything additional.

Well, the first thing listed is "ZF1 Appearance Pkg".....so I have to go with it's a ZF1, not Z51.

It's got slotted rotors though like a z51.

And black calipers too, I believe base are gray. Hard to understand why someone would call it Zf1 if it's not?

It's also a very late build, one of the last 3K '14 C7s built probably in June 14. Mine is about 1K numbers higher and built in July 14, just before the MY changeover.

The 5th digit of the VIN is "K". That tells you that it is a Z51, 2LT with the Automatic Transmission (which would be an A6 for 2014). You can tell that without needing to run the VIN. Decoding a 2014 C7 VIN

Is it just me, but I don't see the suede seat inserts, I see regular perforated leather. I will try to check out the car this afternoon and see for sure.

Yes its priced very fair. Actually, I think it's a low price with the B2B still in place. You can extend the factory GMEPP warranty on that car probably at the same cost of a ALLY warranty. If the Carfax/Autocheck comes up clean, that's one is a buy in my opinion.

Apparently the seller just doesn't know what he has. He also says it has Nappa leather that wasn't available on a 2LT. And as already pointed out, the ZF1 package wasn't available in 2014.

Always a good idea to have someone you trust eyeball the actual VIN number on the car itself; windshield, door sticker, options label, and the 'clear' title. A friend of mine went to look at a car once where the seller just posted another 'similar' car's VIN in the for-sale ad.

Pretty sure at the end to the 14 run you could order the ZF1. They are rare, but there are some ZF1 2014s. Judging strictly by brakes, this car is a Z51...
