Default A touch of wheel bling

Purchased a set of Z06 reproduction wheels from DOCZ. He offered the best price, fast shipping, and superior customer service. Wheels arrived as planned so off to the local GM dealer. Service was top notch. Tech at the dealers was well aware of using jacking pucks and where and how to lift. He even brought me back into the service bay to show me. Shop performed the switch over with no issues. Called me back and showed me that one of the new wheels was out of round. It could of been damaged in shipping as FedEx pretty much destroyed the boxes that contained the front wheels. Most importantly, the customer service to replace it was top notch. Nice to see a vendor stand behind what they sell because sometimes **** happens and its beyond any ones control. Took the new wheel back to the Chevy dealership and they switched it out yesterday. After they replaced the out of round wheel they again brought me back to show me how much better the new wheel was. All the tires were properly inflated and the torque was correct. On the way home hit 80 on I40 and the ride was glass smooth. I hope any future dealings I have with them go as smooth.
Dealer was Dave Kirk located in Crossville TN.

MY last 2 C6's came with optional chrome wheels and I learned my lesson. If your a fan or chrome, DON'T spend $1,995 on optional chrome wheels when buying a new car. Buy whatever comes stock then once the car comes in buy the wheels you really want and you save a bunch of cash in the process. I sold the stock wheels locally for $500 and the center caps went for $75 and then used this money to off set the cost of the new wheels. At the end of the day my total out of pocket expense for the Z06 wheels and installation fees was roughly $450.

Not my best photography skills but here is a picture:

Deleted due to incorrect info. DOCZ is not "House of Wheels."

Looks great. I plan to swap out the black wheels on my new GS with black chrome Z06 wheels when it arrives. What did the dealer charge you to swap the wheels? I used Discount Tire when I swapped my base wheels with Z06 replicas on my base C7 and they charged me $130. They did a great job. I'm curious to know if the dealer was more expensive.

This is my base 3LT which I just sold to get my GS.

Dealer charged $120. But cut me a break when they remounted the wheel that replaced the out of round, $15.
If discount tire was closer might have used them as they changed the tires on My C6 and did a great job. Chevy dealer told me they had a new machine that wouldn't touch the chrome finish and they guaranted no scratches.

They look great my friend. And, if you like the GM center caps will fit just fine on the wheels as you can see. And you are correct, Docz is at the top for customer service.

Just ordered a set of Gloss Black Z06 wheels for my 2015 Stingray from Keith at DOCZ. Great price and service. Decided to update my five spoke wheels that came with the car.

DocZ is a great vendor. Super fast shipping and better prices than any of the other wheel vendor on this forum.
