Default *Pic heavy Delivery post 2/11/17 Star throwback pics from Mike Furman at Criswell*

~ So many times...Folks call in and don't realize how easy it is to basically do the whole deal over the phone without stepping foot in the dealership. It takes a ton of experience to make all the moving parts work seamlessly. Todays post is proof of that in spades...take notice at all the different Cities/States that this weeks deliveries go to. Check out my delivery videos on my Corvette Furman Facebook page.

~The following are either getting drop shipped or Museum delivered:
Renee S in Akron, Ohio receives a Race Yellow Z51 cpe with Auto trans:
Dan D. of Castro Valley, Calif. gets a Torch Red Z06 Convt 7spd and 3LZ, Z07: Chris C. of Bowman, Calif. gets a Z06 cpe White with Red 2LZ 7 spd and Nav: Scott J. of Santa Barbara, Calif will pick up at the Museum a Silver/Black Z06 3LZ with Auto trans; Rick M. of Gold River, Calif. gets a Z51 cpe in Torch Red/ Black 7spd, Chrome wheels and 2LT: John G. of Brookfield, Wisc gets a White/Black 2017 Z06 Convt drop shipped to him while he trades in his 2016 Z06 Convt.; Harold T. of Scottsdale, AZ gets a Torch Red/Black Z06 7spd and 3LZ; and Mike P. of Midland, Texas has a Yellow 2LZ Z06 cpe getting sent to Callaway in California to go from 650HP to 757 HP. That is all this week including the deliveries down below...and no assistant! I get asked that all the time.

~Thomas C. of Half Moon Bay, California factory ordered this stunning 2017 Sterling Blue Z06 Cpe with 3LZ Pkg, Auto trans and the 10 spoke pearl nickel wheels. Tom had it built and shipped here and next step is for Plycon trucking to enclose trailer it to his driveway. He wanted our Corvette Techs doing the PDI etc.

~William S. From Gibbon Glade, PA called me Thursday for a Saturday Appt. to see if he could trade in his 12,700 mile 1LT 2016 7 spd manual Stingray for a 2017 Grand Sport 2LT and Auto trans. Bill was in and out in 90 minutes and he was literally pinching himself with excitement to be a Grand Sport owner! Black/Black with the Heritage pkg and Black wheels. Cool as the other side of the pillow!

~Monday(tomorrow) 9am Mike S. from Houston, Texas flies in and takes delivery of his 3rd Corvette. He ordered it on his 50th birthday Dec 28th.
Arctic White with Kalahari Z51 cpe. It's all cleaned and filled with gas for his trip home to Texas.

~Tuesday 10am-Andrew S. of Rockville, MD takes home this Silver Grand Sport with Comp seats and Z07 pkg.

~Wednesday 10am- Runager T from Braintree, Mass flies in to drive home his Torch Red Grand Sport cpe

~Saturday 10am Keith P. drives down from Middletown, NY and trade in his 2015 Z51 for theis Admiral Blue GS cpe.

~Corvette truckloads come in 2-3 times per week...

Thanks for another great week Mike.
I think my favorite throwback pic was of the Apollo 12 crew and their '69's.

So if these performers order a Corvette do they get a radio delete and just sing to themselves?

Another great week Mike.

The old dealership pics are great.

Glad they are starting the restoration of the sinkhole 62. Took these when I was at the NCM in November.

It appears you had great sales this week. You must be very efficient at you job.

How long did it take you to put together this post?

The Apollo XII crew was my favorite celebrity with Vette pic because I have always been a big aerospace fan, especially the Mercury through Apollo programs.

Lots of practice over 39+ years of doing this. I was a General Manager for 23 years before going back on the sales floor in August 2009. All I am doing is everything that I taught over the years being a Manager.

Each post takes approx two hours every Sunday morning...which doesn't count all the work I put in during the week taking its and searching for pics etc...

Apollo crew Corvette pics are always special!

My favorite is Brian Wilson in his garage in a batting stance with his vette. I like it because it is something you do not normally see celebs do. Looks like he is really having fun.

Great photo history!

I understand and hear that every week. I get many great Corvette questions from North of the border and enjoy answering them.

Default Zora Duntov !

Where would we be without him ? Most likely, we wouldn't considering that GM was considering killing the Corvette iirc
