Quite a few of the gold chains worn by owners are fake.

What about the "gills" on the side? I don't think they're doing anything but looking kinda cool?

I think they are outlets for the front brake cooling. Similar to the vents in the back.

I like that you found a way to show the packs instead of the run of the mill large valve Faux covers that's not bad either.

Those fake fender extensions on the front. It's obvious to me that the C7 fenders are different than the Zo6 front fenders but GM stopped at flaring them as the back fenders are...odd.

Those dump engine compartment heat and are larger on the Z06 due to the need to remove even more heat. All of the vents on the Z51 and higher equipped models are functional, I believe on the base model the only non-functional vents are those used for the AT and differential cooler and if the base is equipped with an A8 then that fender vent side is functional.

Nope. The large front fender vents are for relieving underhood pressure/high temp air front the engine bay.

What's the difference between the vertical slats/vents on the rear bumper vs. the ones right underneath the taillights (the tears)?

They are all (all 4 exit vents, tail lights and lower vertical) for exiting air flow from the diff and trans coolers. The air that originates from the vents on the top of rear quarters.

Neither does the color. That doesn't make either "fake."

Most folks can get clubs in, but that begs the question of it being designed for clubs. That it is a 10 ft3 space does not make it "fake."

That's subjective. It's still not "fake." "Fake" means something that looks like it is for a certain function, but is not. A fake vent doesn't vent anything. None of your examples represent anything that is fake.
Clearly my sarcasm was lost. But I do appreciate you taking the time to respond. That gave me a chuckle.

Well the way the NPP is implemented the 4 pipes are necessary. Straight through exhaust goes through the outer pipes and muffled exhaust goes through the center pipes.
