Got the M7 Vette home today!
My husband and I left for Iowa yesterday and made it back today with our first, but certainly not last vette. I didn't even stall it once. Read lots in the manuals, there are so many warnings. It's very dirty now, how do you guys wash them? There were so many warnings in the owners manual that I feel like it can only be gently scrubbed with angel wings and holy water.
So products and recommendations? We just drove the Camaro through the car wash we realize we can't do that anymore.
PS. Thanks to everyone who voted on the 2016 manual shift, it's ahmazing! Of course it's the highest octane money can buy!!

Congrats to you as well! Everyone here is very helpful, so I am sure they will chime in on the best ways to wash the dirt away.
Yes that is the Long Beach Red, I really like it. It's really sparkly in the sun, and darker otherwise. It's a little chameleon.

Welcome to the cult......er, club! Be sure to get some "Patriot Wax" and excellent leather/interior cleaner from Adam's Polishes. I bought my new Stingray on February 1st and just turned 500 miles on it Sunday. She's my garage queen for sure - but I grin from ear to ear every time I run through those seven wonderful gears.
Enjoy your car and be proud to be among those of us who own Corvettes. As with yours, mine is my first (although I am much, much older than you are) - but hopefully not my last.
Many miles and smiles are ahead of you!!
{This was my car the day I bought it from Mike Furman at Criswell Chevrolet.}

Congrats -
At the end of the day it's a car with paint, you can wash it anyway you like.
I wash mine by hand and I use Adams product http://adamspolishes.com. I use the rinse less wash which i love with 2 buckets. You can do a search on the 2 buckets method on the chat board and it will explain it to you.
Welcome to the ULTIMATE club, enjoy!

I had a very reputable local detailer work on my car all day and then told me to buy Eco-wash from Chemical Guys. It has carnuba wax in the solution. It's the only thing you'll ever need and keeps it looking absolutely spectacular while at the same time protecting the car. Super easy to use. I love it.....just spray on and wipe off with micro fiber cloths.

Congrats on your new baby and for going with M7. I always hand wash and follow GlenE's detail methods. They work great at getting the car clean and shiny. I would recommend using a sealer like Black fire Crystal sealer ( auto geek sells it) sealer will last longer and protect better than most wax, and much easier to apply. It is self leveling so basically you apply it and that's it, no wiping off. A little goes a long way with stuff. Good luck and enjoy.

Congrats!!! The M7 is a lot of fun.
You will need a wheel brush and cleaner to keep those black wheels glossy.
There are a lot of great tips above, but you will end up doing it YOUR way!
My washing ritual is like a two hour massage for my sweet baby.
