sounds almost exactly my situation pre-corvette

Just want to say congrats to you too though man! Killin the game.
Thanks man, you will too. Just stay humble and keep the faith. The corvette feels perfect for that. Plenty of rich ******* here in California with Ferraris, mclaren etc. The vette seems to say. "Look at me, I am successful. But I haven't always had money."

I guess it's time for me to actually learn how to take care of the paint on a vehicle. I can fix just about any mechanical problem but I never was really any good at washing/waxing/paint correction.

We were supposed to get hail tonight so I spent the entire day cleaning out the shed, so I could actually fit a car in the garage. I think this is the first time a car has ever been in the dang garage since we built it (not kidding)

Congrats on the new vette. Looks beautiful. I just got mine a week back too. I'm 24 now. I was very concerned about investing close to 50 grand on a vehicle. Took me a year to finally pull the trigger. Very happy that I did and definitely not the end of the life 😀

Might be a dumb question, but does the chrome grill "retainer" pieces come blacked out now? Reason I ask is I just plasti-dipped em in my extra grill I'm installing in the spring, but I might just order the pieces if I can get them factory black. Thanks for any info...

Congrats and welcome to the club! I don't think I've ever owned a blue car, but that Admiral Blue looks really nice. Some really nice pics as well.

Check out Larry Kosilla and AmmoNYC on Youtube. It'll save your paint!

Hope I dont sound condescending but if you young adults can afford the cars then by all means you are making a good purchase.
When you are older in life you will realize life isnt about how much money you have, but about all the memories you enjoyed along the way.

The bad news is, once you own one Corvette be prepared to be a member of the club for a long time

Yes my grill came blacked out as well as many of the other vettes on the lot there. I guess it it part of some sot of blackout package.
