Simple question....Do you guys like or dislike the hash marks on the GS fenders?
Simple question do you guys like or dislike the hash marks on the Grand Sport fenders? I cant decide which looks better but I have never had any type of stripes on any Corvette I have ever owned. How would you guys order your NEW GRAND SPORT with or without the Hash Marks on the fenders? Thanks Dave

It's a personal choice. Your money, your car. If I was buying one, stripes, no way. Makes it look like a hot wheels toy to me. Much cleaner without stripes.
I ordered my Grand Sport with the Heritage Package, after looking at it for a couple months and looking at my photo album on the production line without the bright red stripes.....I removed them. I think they work on some colors and some they don't. My GS is Arctic White/Adrenaline Red 3LT and I just felt like they didn't belong there on my car. So they're gone. Simply a matter of personal taste.

Hash marks and stripes originally were to differentiate similar race cars from each other. On the street they don't have a function, are just for style. If you like them, fine, but they are relatively expensive.
If it were me I would buy without and then add the tape hash marks after thinking about it a while. Vendors will sell them to you for a good deal less than the factory price.

Correct. I put decals on my model cars in grade school. They look silly to me, but hey! If you like them, cool.
