Default Center console cover

Not perfect but attaches with elastic. Now I can place my elbow without the fear or a dent.
My local upholstery shop did it for 50 bucks.

I've been looking for something along those lines. Have seen a variety of styles offered for the C6, but none so far for a C7. Think someone is missing a great marketing opportunity. I currently just place a multi-folded hand towel there. Protects the console cover, but really not a good solution.

Sorry, I'm not feeling this item. I know you don't worry about your elbow, but I'm not fond of the look. The sewing looks very cheap and the fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired.

I'm with Steven. Makes you wonder what kind of people were hired to sew that thing together.

The thought is great, but the product looks terrible to be honest.

I have over 14,000 miles after 366 days of ownership. No dents or wear marks on my stock arm rest

I like the idea, I'd just like to see the execution better.

Forum vendor Redline goods makes console covers that look pretty nice. If you get tired of that one, or want to add some variety, might be worth a look.

Well he did say it wasn't perfect. I agree the craftsmanship could be better, but for $50, what the heck. The concept is good, and it serves the purpose. I like that it can be easily slipped on or off. I'd only use it while on an extended drive, then slip it off.

Just bought a black face towel which I fold down to about one quarter size, and lay on top of the console to rest my arm on.
It pads the top and absorbs any moisture when wearing short sleeves in summer... just wash it when needed. Works good enough.

Looks tacky, fit and finish is well, horrible.

I agree on the good idea but lack of execution for this product.

I find it hard to believe markcz has no dents in his armrest. He must have one made of material different than the rest of us...

Sounds like what I do as well. Wish someone made something similar, in a washable material (perhaps neoprene?) with about 1" of some sort of memory foam backing, that stretched to fit over the lid.
