I she does high end work and is very well done. This was almost a favor to me at 50 bucks. I do wish a little more time was spent on stitching but it's on and off easy.

That's a great looking piece! I like it! But at $50, it's pricey...I'd want to preserve its good looks and prevent any damage caused by my elbow. Have you thought of a clear plastic film or perhaps cloth cover for your cover?

How much is a brand new console cover anyway? I mean, just buy a new one when the original wears out.

Just had mine replaced yesterday under warranty. Dealer said it's a common problem.

Im sorry, don't wanna come off rude. But I by no means am rich,I consider myself middle class. But you guys that are treating these cars like they are "1 of a kind" exotic cars just seem to be so freaking silly? Its a dam arm rest!!! There's thousands on eBay for under 100$!!! That cover looks rediculous!!! Your car is gonna be worth the same in 5 years if you have a dent on your armrest or you don't. Life's way too short, enjoy your car, drive it in the rain,Use it. Too many yrs have gone by in my life when I was too **** about my ride,I'd get i chip and wanna sell it!!! It's like these guys that hardly drive there car as it is but feel the need to give the mass produced thing a 5k expel wrap job!!! Your just helping out the next guy. Sorry, but just enjoy your beautiful ride and learn how to use the performance it offers well. Just my 2 cents.

My C7 is stored Winters but is driven in the rain. It's also on road trips and has gathered a couple of rock chips. In my opinion that is different than the dent in the armrest issue as it is more of a defect or design mistake than something that could be described as normal wear. Our two driver Caddies have many more miles than my C7 and both armrests are perfect. The C7 armrest material is certainly more cushioned, but there does not seem to be adequate memory on the inside material. Obviously the number of them replaced under warranty should be getting GM's attention. When a prospective buyer looks at a used C7 interior this will stand out. A deal breaker-probably not-but it doesn't leave a good first impression.

To each their own, but the way I look at it is, a new console lid is $220 as seen here, and probably cheaper without the stingray logo.

I don't know what to tell you, but it's still perfect after a year of being my DD (only car), and I definitely lean on it.

It's a 2016 that was built in Feb 2016. Maybe they changed something, what years are the ones that have issues.

My local upholstery shop did it for 50 bucks.

Really? Good way to downgrade the look of beautiful interior......original OEM lid for inder $200, change it out when it worn out and looks fresh again......remember you have a C7 Corvette not a Geo Metro....lol

That looks at lot worse than a slight impression in the lid cover. Not following your logic here.

Now that's what I was talking about in a few of my earlier posts. She needs to market them! I'll place the first order.

I would rather have a little dent in the console than covering it up with that product. If you are worried about the dents in the console you could just put a shirt or some other item of fabric while you are resting your elbow on the console.

That would be great. If she did, I'd want black with a gray logo, or gray with a black logo. Curious about yours. Does it also have a bit of padding sewn in? About 1/2 to 1" of memory foam would be nice. And is it washable? Both of those features would make for a great product IMO.
