Has anyone painted with this before??
Going to paint my ACS zero7 skirts today. My local auto store mixed carbon flash and recommended this system instead of an aerosol can. $30 for all of it. The spray system is reusable. I'll let you know how it works for me.

I have used Preval sprayers forever...first time back in the 80's (I know, some of you guys weren't born yet). Just make sure that you have a couple of refills...they can be purchased at most hardware and/or paint stores. Good luck.

You have to keep a few refills handy. When they get about half way down it will start losing pressure as the canister gets colder. That will lead to orange peel. Your mix to thinner has to be right on also as you are not able to adjust pressure as you would with a gun. So test panels are in order.

Looks interesting. I'll be curious to see your results!

I got this result on my calipers with G2 custom caliper paint and Preval sprayers, and I did say sprayerS, plural. Obviously they are a can of compressed air, and as you use them, they get cool to the touch. As mentioned above, if you spray while they are cold you can get orange peel and even worse, sputtering of the paint. When I did my calipers I actually rotated between 3 different spray bottles, rotating each one out when it showed an sign of getting cool. Also, its VERY important that you never shake the sprayer with the paint bottle attached. Theres a small vent hole that opens up into the bottle area, and if you get that clogged then you'll have problems spraying as well. This is why the package says to never tilt past 45 degrees. Its Preval's basic way of warning you to keep that vent clear, so be careful with tilting the system when "loaded".
All in all, you can get some AMAZING results if you take your time.

Mdiiulio,
Where did you get the replacement CORVETTE "Decal" after you painted them?
Do you have a link of where to Buy the decals please?

So I ended up painting the skirts today. One turned out really well. The other a little to much orange peel for my taste. And that was my fault. I'll try to get some pics uploaded at some point. I may end up sanding and reshooting the one bad skirt.

Wet sanding isn't difficult at all.
And afterward, a three inch random orbital (I like Griot's) with Adam's Machine Polish on a RED pad works great! Yes, I said red pad. I like the result better than an orange pad. It's softer and can work on any small or irregular shapes better than the actual orange polish pad.
