Windshield cracked from inside or laminate failure
I've had my C7 for a little over 2 years. Today when I was washing the car, I noticed what appears to be either a crack from the inside of the windshield on the upper drivers side or it almost appears that water is between the black laminate and the glass. Has anyone else experienced this? From what I can see from searching previous posts, this may be a warranty issue?

Exact same problem experienced on my buddy's new 2016 while it sat in their inventory. GM should replace it. His was on the passenger side at upper corner just like yours. Good luck.

I just got mine as a 2016 leftover. I noticed a tiny defect in a similar spot on the passenger side of the windshield. You can't feel it on the outside and it is covered with the pillar from the inside.
I just brought it to the dealer dealer and they offered to replace it, but I really just wanted it documented in case it gets worse. They were very cooperative.
I would think your dealer will replace it under warranty.

Had it in the passenger side. Came out of nowhere with no outside rock damage. Complete PIA as the new windshields that have been installed under warranty have ALL been defective one way or another. Still dealing with blurry/ distorted glass in my line of view. Going to a different dealer in the spring time to see if I can get a satisfactory replacement.
