Default OEM Carbon Fiber dash separating

The carbon fiber dash is coming up where the fiber meets the bright trim at the top of the gauge binnacle. This cf was installed at the factory and not aftermarket. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sorry for the goofy thread title. I can't edit.

If I'm understanding your description, mine doesn't sit perfectly flush either. Not enough to bug me.

Sounds like the CF laminate is delaminating.

TPA, I would definitely take it to a dealership and see what they say.

By the way, I fixed your title of your thread for you!

Thanks Steve! Yes one side is definitely worse than the other. Apparently I'm not the only one experiencing this. I'm wondering if I can take care of it on my own with some glue? If not, I'll see if the warranty will cover it.

For something like that I would be inclined to get the dealership to fix it. If they can't, push for a new dash. Good luck!

Man don't do the glue stuff yourself. Take it in and let them get you a new piece then let them put it in also. If you glue are do something with it they will blame you and may have to buy a new one on your $$$.. Robert

I have the same problem, tried to fix with 3m red double face tape, didn't help. I rarely see it, the steering wheel hides it from me. Not really noticeable from the passenger side.

If it's peeling get it replaced under warranty. That's why we have warranties.

LOL at that "ignore the dust" comment as if there's a sandstorm in those pix.

A lot of OCD people own Corvettes, I see, and I'll be added to that list too soon.
