Default Need front tires 7,200 miles

I just noticed my right front tire is evenly bald. Left front is decent. Car stays straight, rides smooth, no indication of any type of problem! The same happened with my former 2013 GS at 5600 miles. Most roads in Cape Coral are old, with crushed sea shells in the mix. Plus it's always hot here, and when slow turning left, that wheel drags. I doubt there is a problem with the car. If it's out of alignment, would that be warranty work? It's 2015 Stingray 7200 miles.

Sounds like you need an alignment. Evenly bald is deceptive. I'd expect uneven wear but 7200 miles is horrible.

I got 25K out of my front tires, my alignment was way out. I don't remember doing anything to knock my car out of alignment. Looks like it might have come out of the factory this way. Rear wheels were like new.

A local guy I know who is an old man and drives like an old man cooked the OEM tires on his Z06 in < 7K miles. I think they last much longer on Z51s than on Z06's and GS cars with the bigger wheels.

I have an appointment tomorrow morning at the dealer. Hope it is warranted, but doubt it.

Had alignment, and new tires done today. In order to be covered by warranty, one year or 7000 miles. Whichever occurs first.

My front tires are wearing terrible too. I'm at 15 months of ownership and 6200 miles, front tires almost on wear bars on the inside, outside is much better. I went to the dealer yesterday, alignment and tires were not covered under warranty.

The standard PSS tires on Z06/GS are reported to last about like the smaller Z51 tires, based on Tire Rack description and testimonials. The Cup2 tires, optional on Z06/GS (Z07), are another story.

I had a courtesy alignment done on my 2017 Z51 at Firestone last week and the left rear was at max. camber. Took it to the dealer for alignment figuring it would be covered; they charged me $116.00. I only had the car for 3 weeks. I will be having my service done somewhere else...

I'm at a little over 7k and about 14 months. Mostly around town driving. Fronts are definitely going to need replacing soon. I'm hoping they last until August, when I plan on putting drag radials on the rear.

Crazy thing, I have almost twice the tread left on my rears despite multiple burnouts.

They should last longer, if anything. Same weight (roughly) and more rubber to share the load.

I'm stepping up to 265 (275 if I can) front and 305 (315 if I can) rear. While they're more expensive, they should last longer. They should last longer, in terms of over heating, at the track too.

2,400 miles on my Z06 PSS originals and they look fine. I will certainly get more than 7,000 miles from them and I don't drive like an old man.

I've got 7300 on mine and the fronts are gonna be at wear bars by 10k. Better start looking for a tire man who can actually get the changeover done properly.

Florida roads are tough on front right tires....Combination of higher speed left turns and that crap they put in the roads.. Cheers
