I used Intercity with a positive experience. Resonably priced and professional. Congrats on the Z06!

Reliable is the leader in enclosed auto transport. they have over 400 trucks with the next having less than 50. all drivers are " car People" you get what you pay for and well worth having a good company move your car. they have moved several for us persoanly move all the cars for our customer in our logistics company .

I used Uship and was paired with CFR Autodirect for ~$400 less then others were quoting. NJ to San Jose. Worked out great and saved a couple of dollars.

I can recommend InterCity, NH. to WA. $2500. Everything done over the Internet, couldn't have been easier.

There are good reasons that Intercity, Reliable, Horseless Carriage and Plycar are more expensive than others. I would NOT use a broker. They will be cheaper but I have had heard and read about too many horror stories. Basically, you get what you pay for.

Reliable has a lot of overhead to pass on keeping up Craig Jackson, even though they are headquartered near me and I've offered to drop at their depot with variable delivery they still wanted big bucks. Intercity has on multiple occasions refused to come to Ft Myers, Fl, guess they are just making too much$$$?

I've used open carriers a few times and there have always been issues, bad luck I guess.

I'm subscribing because I will need transport this fall.

Good luck

I used a carrier Mills Transport out of Dubuque, Iowa a few years back. A husband and wife business - with an indy pulling another fully enclosed van too. Fully enclosed van service - just like the very pricey carriers. It was basically -50% less than the $$$ carriers. The only drawback was it also doubled the lead time necessary to get mine shipped here. Also, they were a $0 deductible with any transport damage your vehicle may incur in transit - very important to check that out!

I concur that you may want to stay away from brokers.

I've used Passport, very good service, no issues with the car.

Curvejunkie,

Intercity Lines will be glad to give you a CF rate on the move of your Z06. Please confirm pickup and delivery cities and we will send you over a quote on your move.

I had read on here to they give a 7% forum discount, but I just received a quote and they gave me $50 off a $1600 quote. Think I will shop around some more
