National Corvette Museum Raffle, like how I won my 2017 GS CE in January.

Yes, they are doing another one, but this one is a little unique....

It does not show on their website yet, but you can see it on Delivery Camera 9 right now, so I'm guessing it will show next week.

From my source I have learned the following:
  • This is Sequence / VIN# 0003. You simply can't buy a lower numbered VIN. Owned by GM, has toured around a little for showcasing the car. Has 76 miles on it currently as a result, will be titled as a new car though.
  • 7-speed Manual
  • Z07 Performance Package
  • Competition Seats
  • Visible Carbon Fiber Roof
  • Visible Carbon Fiber Ground Effects

I don't have a complete build sheet (yet) but as optioned above this builds out as just over $98k.

Tickets are $200, will be limited to 1,000 tickets (tickets for the raffle I won were $250, I'm speculating GM donated the car).

Hopefully someone from the forums will get this car.

And BTW, in the CE Registry post that is a sticky, I've been able to get specs on almost 400 cars so far.

Only 18% of the cars are M7's and only 16% are Z07's.

Of the 55 Z07's, almost 24% are M7-Coupes (majority are A8-Coupes).

But I've only seen 5 so far that have Visible Carbon roofs.

If you're into rare/unique, for 2017 this could be the one IMHO. I'm not trying to start a value debate, so please don't go there. People go for rare/unique for their own reasons, whatever they may be. But here's what I'm seeing from a uniqueness perspective:
  • Start with a 1,000 (maybe) limit on the number of these cars, a single year run.
  • Then factor in M7/Z07/Visible Carbon Fiber options
  • And finally throw in that it was a GM car and is VIN 0003

The only other one I'm seeing close to it is sitting at Bob Valenti in Mystic, CT for $97,380, it's #0403, although I think VIN 0003 has a MSRP slightly higher than this one.

I'm interested in it as its a MN7 for sure. Not too many of the C7s raffled have a stick. When do the tix go on sale? NM, I went back and re-read your post about next week sometime as your guess. Thanks for the heads up.

I didn't post the link because that particular car is not listed yet. It looks like you can buy the tickets in person at the museum right now as it is on display. I'm told it will show up on the website this week, I'll keep checking.

In any case, they always post the cars that are being raffled in the same location, good to check once a month to see what they have going on (IMHO) as it changes monthly.
