Default Old school and new school together

This was a couple months ago back in February, but I thought it would be fun to post. My father and I entered our cars into the World of Wheels car show in Kansas City, MO at Bartle Hall. My father's car is a 1964 Chevy II post with a 400+HP 350, Muncie M21 4spd, posi rear end with 355 gears, and 1967 Nova SS interior. He is the second owner and has had the car for over 25 years. The restoration was done just over 2 years ago. Super nice car, wins 1st place wherever it shows (BTW, his other car is a 1967 Nova SS that I have known since I was 4 years old). Mine is a 2016 Z06 A8 with the only mod being APR Performance carbon fiber side skirts. We entered the show with 2 of our other friends and had a blast. My father and I were put side by side on the front of our row and made for some cool photos. My dad got 1st place in his class and I got 2nd place in my class. As you can see from one of the photos below, my dad is a fun guy!

I love stories like this. What a great way to bond with your father. You will have this memory forever.

Absolutely awesome! I'm a big Chevy II/Nova fan. Your dad has good taste in vintage Chevy's.

Oh wow, that's awesome! It was a really good show this year with over 800 cars I believe. Thanks!

Your Dad's car is awesome - the stance is perfect. Yours is nice too - but anybody can have a nice new car. That Chevy II is a gem.

I really like your story. I share the car habit with my dad and my oldest son. Good times,
