How far did you travel to purchase your Corvette
As a dealer, we see customers come from all over the Country. In some cases, customers never step foot inside the dealership and have the car shipped. Just curious how far you are traveled, if at all, to purchase your dream car. Let us know your stories!

Purchased mine from a forum dealer that was offering a discount back in 2014 via email. Never set foot in the dealership. I did NCM Delivery, so I guess you could say I travelled about 750 miles to get it.

About 10 miles from dealer who sold me the car. Sampled deals from five different dealers, local and distant. Price varied over $4,000.

Were you looking at similarly trimmed and optioned cars? Sounds like you got the best scenario possible, a good price and a short trip.

Fly to Omaha and driven back to Memphis (750 miles one way) but with air 1500ish.
No regrets.

Two miles. I used to work at that dealership as a new car salesman in 2004 so it was cool to buy my second Corvette there.

Mine was a somewhat unique situation. In March of 2016 I found a dealer 75 miles away in a very small town that had an unsold 2014 Arctic White, 3LT, Z51 Coupe 7 speed manual that had spent its entire life sitting on the showroom floor.
It had been test driven a few times (had 106 miles on it) but no one wanted a manual transmission. I did. MSRP was $78,155.
That included $2,180 on the sticker for dealer ordered and installed accessories. The only options it didn't have were the Carbon Fiber dash and automatic transmission.
Their advertised price was $58,900! That did include a $1000 GM incentive at the time I looked. So I bought the car that day with a $19,255 discount and I couldn't have been happier. Full warranty started when I left the dealer. I got very lucky.

My house is less than 3 miles from Criswell Chevrolet. I wasn't a member of the forum when I purchased the car so I didn't know about Mike Furman. The salesman I worked with, though, took great care of me.
