Funny but probably true. Was hoping for a A10 with a extra 40 HP to make a even 500HP on the Stingray and Grand Sport!!!!

Not sure on the exact date, but I think it's sometime next week. That being said, April 10th...? It may not be much, but it sounds like we're going to finally get some (concrete) information on the C7 2018s.

The last day of production is well past next week. The last day to order is 4/13. If you order then your TPW is likely a month out.

ZR-1 of course or what ever they decide to call it. Who knows they may be saving the ZR-1 name plate for the mid engine car. The special edition may just be called Z06 Zora edition something or other.

So they will produce some 2018s before the plant shut down then? I was thinking the mid engine car might just be called the Chevrolet ZR1 and ditch the Corvette name all together hence Chevrolet insisting no such thing as a mid engine Corvette.

Yeah - I must've got those deadlines mixed between order and production. Sorry about that. Must be the upcoming 3 day weekend talking

Ken,

Thank you for posting this Chev. Bulletin! Could not have come at a better time, to assess the '17s versus the '18's available options. 👍👍👍

Then they'll have to give us a software update so that we get an equivalent bump from our SC cars

I'm right with you. I have a GS on order but it was not pickup by GM this week , might see if color combo I chose is still available on 18 and change to 18.

Special Edition -- GS whatever -- if it's got 50+ more HP, I'm interested, otherwise as I've said before; a garage queen used Z is in my budget for next year.

Your timing couldn't have been better, I was just talking to a dealer about ordering a 2017 GS before the cutoff date. He was a bit skeptical of an order being accepted, He also mentioned that 2018's can be ordered and produced before plant shutdown but didn't have any dates. After reading this post I think rather then playing my luck on getting 2017 order accepted I'll wait until the 2018 can be ordered.

And add about $5 grand additional cost too for the special edition stickers and emblems ( probably a special color too)
