I received my photos printed on aluminum today (pics inc)
My lovely lady recently showed me photos she had that were printed on aluminum - so I looked into it. Printing on aluminum makes the colors pop - I thought I would share info for anyone interested in putting some pics on the wall - these are frameless and I got the free "floating mount" as my hanging device so they will sit off the wall a tad - The blacks are black and colors correct - i went with matte finish as they will hang in my game room which has a lot of windows - I have seen portraits done in gloss and they really pop on aluminum. I went with aluminyze.com because from what I found there website was fool proof - I cropped my pics some and just uploaded them there - they have ALOT of sizes and shapes (even a license plate shape). I went with 11 x 17 and the panoramic is 8 x 24. The website will tell you if you have enough "pixels" to go that big - The ones I uploaded came out on the minimum recommended scale and there are clear as water. These are not on the wall yet but on the pool table for photo sake So just passing along an option for those that want some pics on the wall of their vette. This was my very first track event so has meaning to me
Also wait for their 30-40% off coupon - yes you should actually register there - I got 2 coupons a month till i pulled trigger - worth the savings - pricing depends on size and finish etc...after you create an account it will save your photos you uploaded or you can edit and change them out so you won't have to repeat process.

I have had 6 aluminum prints made up in 20x30 from Daytona, Talladega, Road America, and Spring Mountain and they are hands down the most vivid, colorful and sharp images I have ever seen. They are generally $225-$250 ea depending on who you get them from, but every Corvette owner deserves at least one of these of his car. Pictures of these pictures on the 'net do not do them justice, they really must be seen in person.
