I absolutely love this car-no problems at all in 2 years. Best bang for the buck in car land.

I thought my 2012 GS would be my first and only Corvette. Somehow I am now on my 3rd. GS coupe, to Stingray convertible, to GS convertible. All have been problem free, and a total joy to own. This was my first factory order, and took delivery 8/3/2016. Now back on the road with 1700 miles after a long winter nap.

Great Thread!! We need more positive in our lives.
Having owned five Corvettes (still have my 1972 Chrome Bumper), I can truly say this is the Best Vette Yet!!

I'm by no means a wealthy guy, far from it. When I factory ordered my former 2005 coupe it was my very first Corvette even though I'd loved them for nearly 50 years prior. Had that been my last Corvette, I'd have been very grateful to be a Corvette, any Corvette, owner. Not only was it a beautiful car that performed well, there was something special about the way I felt inside every time I drove it, washed it, or even looked at it.
Kind of to my surprise, upon the C7's unveiling on 1-13-13 I wasn't all that excited over the car's looks. I remember thinking that it felt good to not like it much because that would allow me to stay happy with what I had rather than trying to figure out a way to buy a C7 that I really couldn't afford. I'm somewhat embarrassed to say that that state of contentment lasted for just over three months until seeing the C7 in person at the 2013 NCM bash. When I first laid eyes on the Laguna Blue Z51 coupe that was on display it was all over; I was now in love with a car that I couldn't afford. Luckily the 2014s wouldn't be in actual production for several months; by the time I could actually place an order the memory of that first C7 had faded and I was back to being happy with my 2005 C6.
You can probably sense where this is headed. A year later at the bash the 2014s were in the hands of owners and many were driven to the bash. It's one thing to see these cars static in a building but seeing them in motion is a totally different experience. IMO that's where the C7 takes on a true supercar appearance. Fellow forum buddy Paul Pearson had recently taken delivery of one of the first Stingrays built. He drove it to the bash and graciously invited me to take it for a test drive. That was all it took; as soon as I could after returning home from the bash I ordered my 2015 coupe (even though I still could not afford it!). I rationalized using the "life is too short" logic. Fortunately, my wife was fully supportive of it even though I don't think she understood my strong feelings for the car.
My Z51 coupe was one of the first '15s built coming off the line the second week of production. I took delivery on 9-11-14 and it's been bliss ever since. Getting back to Jeremy's original point when he started this thread, I cannot put into words how much I love this car. I love the way it looks, the way it drives, the way it sounds, and the way it feels. Never did I imagine that the C7 would be such a vast improvement over the C6 (even later model years). The biggest thing for me, though, is how I feel emotionally about this car. Never have I loved or appreciated a car as much as I do this one. It just hits all the touch points for me and every encounter with it has me beaming with pride inside.
I remember when the 2010 Grand Sport came out. Upon seeing it at the 2009 bash I must have pouted for 6 months over not being able to buy one. It got even worse in 2012 when the 2013 427 Convertible was shown. I'd have damn near killed to get a Supersonic Blue one! That wasn't in the cards either so I decided that hanging on to my "lowly" '05 coupe was better than being Vetteless.
Things are different now, though. Some pretty exciting stuff has come out since I took delivery of my 2015 Z51 coupe e.g. the Z06 and Grand Sport. We also know that GM has more things up its sleeve for the C7. In spite of all that, I have no desire whatsoever to move up. My Stingray means that much to me. The truth is, I couldn't love it more if it was a $100,000+ Z06. That may seem odd but I've gotta tell ya, it feels really good to be happy with what I have and not lust over something else.
Thanks for reading!

I have owned 26 Corvettes since 1976
1) C2
7) C3's
11) C4's
4) C5's
1) C6
2) C7's
I remember talking to the Corvette engineers at Carlisle back in 2012 asking about the C7. Everybody that I talked to said the same thing when you see it you will have to have it? They were right!!! In August of 2015 a week before Corvettes@Carlisle I traded my 2007 Corvette convertible for a 2015 Z51 coupe. I had the car for 10 months and it was trouble free.
I missed the feeling of the convertible so I ordered a 2016 Z51 Convertible when Admiral Blue was offered in April of 2016. Since I used to owned a 1996 GS convertible one of 53 built with red interior I ordered my 2016 in that combo. I have it 10 months with 3,700 miles. The only problem so far was a bad T/stat. I love this car!!!

My 17 Grand Sport is my fourth Corvette (2004 C5 Vert A4, 2008 C6Z06, 2012 C6 Grand Sport M6, 2017 C7 Grand Sport M7). This is by far the best of the group, and I absolutely loved my C6 Z! But, this car is a blast to drive and it handles amazingly well. You feel like you are pushing it hard, and it simply begs for more! Way to go GM!

There's one thing about a Corvette that few other American cars have. When you are driving it you never forget you're in a Corvette. All the other cars you just go mindlessly from point A to point B. This car has been great, and it is one fine road trip car. Think I'll hang onto this one for awhile.

The C7 is one of the best Corvettes I have ever owned. The only one jump in technology from one Gen to the next I thought was better is C3 to C4. Great suspension tons of power and handles like it is on rails.

Have had mine since December 2015 and not a single problem. I can't put into words how much I love this car and everything about it. I have owned many sports cars and luxury cars over the years, and have never felt the way I do about this car. Absolutely love this beast.

I just genuinely feel sorry for folks in colder climates that have to store their babies for months at a time. I wouldn't be able to stand it! Although I wouldn't drive it in the snow, I would have to get some A/S tires to allow driving in colder but otherwise good weather.

I've had 4 Corvettes. Bought each of them new - ordered the way I wanted them. They were: 2006 Z06, 2010 ZR1, 2011 Callaway Grand Sport, and 2015 Callaway Z06.
I still have the ZR1 and the C7 Callaway Z06.
I've raced/tracked every one of them. I've wore out my share of brake pads and tires, and had to do a couple tricks to keep the roof of the C6 GS quiet, and replaced one mag shock under warranty, but that's it.
It's amazing how reliable these cars are with the performance they provide.

Oftentimes, forums tend to lean toward a higher percentage of threads about problems than they do positive experiences. I've had my fair share of both and honestly post my experiences, regardless.
I absolutely love my new Grand Sport, and wanted to start a thread that we could fill with positive experiences that 7th Gen Corvette owners have had with their Corvettes over the last few years. In addition, if you're excited about what the future holds for Corvette with all of the investment that GM has been and continues to put into the Corvette product line and the Bowling Green Assembly, feel free to comment on that as well.
How about another round for America's Sports Car!

This is a thread for posting positive ownership comments. I know there are people that have problems, as have I from time to time, but this thread's focus is on positive ownership experiences. If I want to read about a problem, I can find a thread for that too.
