I like the Z06 grill on my Stingray more than that the one on the Ferrari anyway. So I have that going for me. And I prefer the stick to the paddle shifter setup. Also, that's a 488 Spyder, the real looker is the coupe.

I just came back from a drive in my GS and had attention at like every street corner. (90% is usually positive but I'm fairly introverted so it makes me paranoid regardless.
I don't know how some of you guys that own the exotics deal with the attention that comes with them.

True story: A few years ago I was on a business trip to CA. Headed to a Starbucks for a break, and thought: "Yup, I know I'm in CA-- a Ferrari outside the Starbucks." That was my first sighting of a C7. I still remember it--Black with Kalahari interior. The rest, as they say, is history!

I'll eventually get a Ferrari when I get older but probably never a new one. Those things devalue like rocks as soon as the new models come out.

Some people love all of that attention and some don't, but IMO a C7 is not really for you if you live in many parts of the US and want to blend in.
And thank god for that!

I'm a big time Ferrari guy! This is one of the best videos out there on the F12.

I like the corvette better.
That said, there was some model Ferrari on a flatbed while I was driving home during rush hour. I don't know which model, but it was screaming "exotic sports car" and was beautiful.

Vettes are always a favorite with the home crowd.
Ferrari is in a different league altogether (wishing I was in that league).
The Sound, The Feel, The Rarity....man, ain't nothing like it.

I have an eye for the 599 GTB. They're averaging around 160K for 2007 and 9-30K on the odo. Except for 0-60 and top speed, it's slower than my GS and the fuel economy is hideous. Beautiful though, inside and out; considered a GT car.
I can dream but, even given ability to buy, which is not currently the case, the cost of maintenance and gas is eye watering. The price to play I guess. I wonder how it would do as a daily driver; looking at the CarFax reports, these have multiple owners (5-6 being a common number) who drive an average of 1.8k miles per YEAR, what effect does that limited driving have on a car like this? An imagined conundrum.

Buddy of mine has a 15 Ferrari California vert cost him around 240 or so and I have the base C7 vert. We like to compare cars and at a distance the vette has the edge however when you start to touch and the feel the cars, the Ferrari is just solid in places the corvette is not and well it should be for the extra 170K. Oh and since mine has a stick and his does not, I have more fun driving mine than his- but his car is soooo sweet.

I own both a C7 ('15) and a 328 GTB Ferrari ('88).... If I had to choose between the two cars I'd keep the Ferrari.
I waited 60 years to get a Ferrari.... put about 10,000 miles a year on it.
Laughing about depreciation on the F-car. Yeah, initially.... all cars are depreciating assets..... I bought my F-car at the bottom of the depreciation cycle and it has doubled in value in just 3.5 years of ownership....
I've got more than 600,000 miles in Corvettes over the past 27 years. Love'em to death but the little F- car is just sweetness in the "flesh."
Yes, the Vette is faster, more comfortable, has more room, get's better gas mileage.... but until you spend time in a Ferrari you just really don't understand.
The old F-car outhandles the C7 hands down..... lovely little beast.

I've always loved the high tech, high revving engines in them that make them sound like an F1 car. I would have loved to see a C7 with a 458 type V8 engine in it.

The Ferrari sales rep couldn't have been nicer, I told him straight out not to waste time with me, that I was just a dreamer driving a Corvette. He says 'I consider myself an ambassador for the brand' - and so he was. Class act, you could tell he was a car lover, he seemed to like my Z51. Man those Ferraris are nice. They LOOK like they should cost $200K-$300K+.
