Yeah, me too. Doesn't look like it yet. I was hoping they would introduce it there...finally!

I wish they would broadcast it live on the internet. Googling for videos are a PITA and 99% of them are useless.

Did you see the Challenger Demon?? 804 hp, 0 to 60 in 2.3 sec 9.65@140 mph! I know its not a corvette but America just built the fastest production car, they saod it will pull the front wheels right out of the showroom

I know I'm probably in the minority on this, but straight line speed just doesn't impress me that much. I'm not a fan of the drag strip. You can strap a rocket onto a motorcycle and go really fast in a straight line, but so what?

Road course, yes. Overall performance and handling is more appealing to me.

yes, if those numbers are accurate.. very impressive!

Chevy needs to do a better job promoting the corvette. There is alot of competition out there. Zr1 needs to step it up!

Yes road course is more fun, I use to track my 03 Cobra. Palm beach, miami homestead and 4 time at sebring but you have to admit that Dodge has come up with an amazing vehicle

If they are going to do it soon, my bet would be at the Bash...I know there is less media there than a big auto show, but it's a great venue for it.

That Demon is for real. Comes standard without a passenger seat and minus a rear seat. Both can be added for $1.00 each. They also arranged insurance with Haggarty in case your insurer is not too Demon friendly. Comes with line lock, etc. It will pull the front wheels off the ground.
Anyhow it will be interesting to see what Corvette announces or GM releases.

Amazing they can put the power to the road. 0 to 60 in 2.3 seconds, got to be close to the limit?

Check VetteTube.com every now and then. They actually categorize all of their Corvette videos which is pretty helpful.

the track hawk hell cat is awd/4wd so if that can be done to a Jeep why not make a track car the same kind of like the GTR..Dodge doesn't seem to have heating issues either and the air conditioned air in take for the super charger sounds cool [pun]..for you jeep lovers check the track hawk..http://www.allpar.com/SUVs/jeep/gran...trackhawk.html

Nope -- their heads drop valves.

Well, just because I have to doesn't mean I will!

But yes, I can appreciate straight line speed... for what it is. But I have to be honest and say that I'm more impressed with speed in combination with handling.

Gives all the specs on the car! Has line lock and a trans brake. It does pull the front wheels off the ground!! It shows it in the included videos. The supercharger is cooled by the a/c unit. You can monitor the intake temp in one of the menus. I believe it won't let you race it again until its properly cooled. It comes with a drag kit. Included is skinnies up front, tools, pcm swap, and a few other things. Comes with factory 4 point harness as well.

Proud to say my nephew was one of the young engineers who worked on the Demon. He got to race it at the Gainesville FL Raceway
