Good to park in the "we think we're better than you b/c we believe in the environmental **** religion" parking space! Maybe some moron in a prius had to walk farther.

I guess the New Hampshire state motto - "Live Free or Die" - is gone too? What's happening?

Perhaps it's time for a moderator to move this thread to "Off Topic"...

I TOTALLY disagree. Etiquette/Politeness is a two way street and a FAIR street. To be anything else destroys the whole meaning of etiquetteness/politeness in that any thing unfair or unbalanced is naturally shunned by human nature, thus considered impolite by most people. We all learned this by kindergarten.

The proper way to incite gentlemanly behavior is to politely and gently inquire about things... it can be said in a "womanly" (AKA kindly) manner, no? No, instead to expect a certain behavior as an implied demand that can only suffer failure, that the other party defer to you and perform behavior X is really the height of pompous behavior IMHO, the "I deserve because I exist" or the "I deserve because somehow you owe me" mindset that I'm sorry but I abhor! I owe you nothing and I exist too! There's nothing virtuous or moral about it, instead it drips of self righteousness and self entitlement - either behavior is equally bad.

That's all and have a great weekend.
I always do. Looks like a BBQ with friends followed by a trip to the Bay Area...

Road Trip!

Technically, when you're parked there are low emissions anyway, since the engine is only on when you're pulling in or leaving. Ironically, that Prius was making higher emissions idling and waiting for the spot, than parking further away and walking (also low emissions, unless you just ate a burrito).

That's just being a dick.
Let me guess, you also carry a handicap placard to use those spots too.

Wow, there are several people here exhibiting a huge level of douchebaggery.

As in, I have to be asked to not be a douchenozzle...

No wonder people think vette drivers are ********.

There have been multiple comments about various signs being "illegal." I doubt it. I suspect all of these signs are on private property and, in general, private property owners have the right to make restrictions on how their property is used as long as they are not discriminating against protected groups or violating a specific law.

Corvette owners, or ICE car owners in general, are not a protected group. Nor, I suspect, are there any laws in those locations prohibiting property owners from setting up special parking requirements. In my state, private property owners can even set up additional restrictions regarding handicapped spaces.

By the same token, since these are rules set up by property owners, and not laws, the restrictions aren't going to be enforced by police. You won't get a ticket for parking in one of those spaces. But if the property has warning signs that say violators will be towed, they likely have the legal right to do that.

This will vary, to some extent, by state, but the above is accurate for the last couple of states I've lived in.
