Favorites always present on Nav screen
I have a row of 5 favorites that are always present at the bottom of the Nav screen. On the audio screen there are none displayed and I have to drag them up to see them. Not so on the Nav screen; they are there all the time. HTH can I hide them? They will not drag down. I don't remember them being there before so this is a new behavior.

Melting Slicks
Cadillac procedure. Worth a try
So, here’s how to perform a restart — otherwise known as a hard reset — on Cadillac vehicles equipped with CUE:
Turn the vehicle on
Open the CUE faceplate, thereby exposing the storage area behind it
With the faceplate up, turn off the vehicle
Open the driver’s side door
Wait 30-60 seconds with the driver’s side door open
Close the door and start the vehicle
Lower the faceplate
Note: a hard reset or restart does not reset system settings or remove user-set items such as favorites.
After performing this sequence of steps, CUE and the vehicle’s other infotainment and telematics technologies will have been “hard reset”, but CUE won’t show any messages this to be the case. The tell-tale sign of a hard reset, however, is a spinning yellow circle in the top right corner of the system, which indicates that CUE is reloading settings.

Mine just go away if I don't touch the screen for a few minutes.
They always have done this, I didn't know that there was some way to make them stay.
