2017 Z51 1LT vs 2016 Z51 3LT
I have decided to purchase a corvette. I sold mine when kids came along, now they are off to college. I have been dealing on a new Z51 1 LT with an msrp of $67,255. I have recently been given the opportunity to purchase a used 2016 Z51 3LT with 723 miles on it. Window sticker shows $81,335 msrp when sold new. I like both cars and the purchase price is the same. Would appreciate any input you guys might have.

The numbers seem very high for a 1LT unless it's a loaded convertible. Regardless, with prices being equal I'd definitely opt for the ultra-low mileage 2016 as long as it's configured the way you want.

2016 3LT all day long. You will regret what you don't get if you get the 2017 1LT!

I would pass on both and get a Grand Sport at whatever LT level you can afford. Good luck either way, nice problem to have.

You get a lot of nice things with a 3lt, I'd opt for that one myself.

You will appreciate all the goodies the 3LT brings with it. It's what I drive and I could not be happier.

Besides the 3LT are there any other upgrades on the 16 like competition seats or?

^^^ 16 has competition seats. If the decision was based solely on the look of the car, inside and out, the sterling blue with black wheels, black badges, and red interior would be my choice. It has nav, back camera. It does not have hud, front camera, and heated/cooled seats.
Basically I love the look of the 17, but think the 16 at the same price is a better buy. Last one I owned was a 1991 convertible and that was many years ago. They both seem like a lot of car compared to that.
I really appreciate all the input, I am enjoying this whole process and am looking forward to this.

^^^^ this is all just my opinion so take it for what it's worth. I've had hud on both cars and I end up turning it off. I personally find it useless. Does that mean it is? Of course not I think I'm probably in the minority. I had comp seats on my 16 and GT on my 17 GS. The GT seats are slightly more comfortable then then the comp seats. The comp seats look way better. It's a tough call man only you can know if the added options on the 16 are worth it...color is important though. My first one was white and it was sharp...now I have admiral blue and love it so much more than the white. I've had black cars and get irritated with them because they always look dirty and you can't breathe on them without seeing wash swirls in them. The sterling blue won't show wash scratches or dirt at all, easy to maintain and a very sharp color.

^^^ What about resale on the 1LT, in a unique color(sterling blue metallic)? From the research I have done, looks like there were not many of them built and the color has been discontinued.
