What's the price diff of going to GS vert...?
Cause going from vert to GS coupe is like, "would you rather pay $13K more to have apples or oranges?"

Vert!
Depends on what you want. Since they are the same drive train, it is a question of choice. The Vert is noisy on the highway, but more fun. The coupe is quieter and a bit lower gas mileage due to the wider body.
A Vette is a Vettte
I would keep the vert and the $8K

I really hope corvette teams finds some performance upgrade for the GS. It's annoying to me that. You have the base engine in both.
GS should have at least a 10 to 15% bump in power. Same woth C6 GS. To me the 427 convertible was so cool because it wasn't a Z06 but had the engine. I'm not saying GS needs the LT4 but how about an LT2 says 520hp/500tq. And I'm tired of the excuses.
at least make it an option on the GS. These cars are like base (powerful) Z06 (extremely dangerous in hands of average vette driver). Just look at the thread where every one complains about the snap oversteer...650/650 too much for probably 3/4 of the owners. Need a sweet spot not normal to "kill".
op. If you're lusting after widebody get a widebody vert otherwise you'll end up regretting it. Unless you're not really into the vert anymore.

Found a nice Red GS Convertible online from Les Stanford with a $7200 discount +the $2000 Corvette Loyalty, but they are about 5 grand less on the trade value! I may just say the "Hell with it all" and keep what I have! I mean, my '16 is virtually brand new with only 550 miles on it! The thing is, I really like the car a lot! Sometimes I change just for the sake of change.
