Clear tail lights (from Z06) starting to yellow/cloudy?
I have a 2015 C7 Z06 and I'm not 100% sure if it my imagination or not but this is the 2nd time I have had my car parked next to another Z06 at a car show and noticed a difference in the Tail Lights. It seems as if theirs are fresh, clear and almost silverish, while mine have a tint of cloudiness or even yellowing around the border of the tails.
Has anyone else noticed this on theirs? What would be the right technique to clear them up?
Id post a picture but you can't tell at all from that. Perhaps I notice most in direct sunlight.
my 16 stored in climate controlled garage but spent 7 months outside on dealer lot prior.
I think it depends on angle and lighting. These lights are only in direct sun for half the day maybe less even if outdoors 24 7. Cant imagine they'd yellow that quickly.
Top pick is now bottom is from october. They look more yellow back then to me (in the pic).
