How it all went down with spouse

Truer words ...the ladies in our lives pretend to understand the passion (God bless them), even steal one of our C7 tee's from time to time, ain't that cute.
You have to know their soft spots, mine if you get a couple of Harp's in here, damn near wants to trade our 16" Z51 in for a Z06 !!!
Some day i hope to capitalize on it ...Some day

Don't forget the great women in this forum, who are the C7 owners, with the support of their understanding husbands.

Congratulations on your dream-car! Like you, I realize that any great thing in life is only made greater by sharing that experience with someone you love. I will take my wife with me to Bowling Green when I do the museum delivery option. We'll make a great trip out of it, probably staying a couple of days in Nashville to sample the food and music culture. You have a great ability to tell a story, thanks for sharing your experience with all of us. I wish you and your wife many happy, trouble-free miles!

Guess this thread accidentally got a second wind. 7500 miles on her now. Carol and I are both taking the Ron Fellows class in September.

I have about 7500 on mine now and am going to Ron Fellows in September. When are you going? I'll be there on the 22/23rd.

I got back a couple weeks ago from Spring Mountain and had a blast other than the fact that area was having a "heat warning." 113 degrees in Pahrump during that stretch (June 22 & 23). Picked up my wife in L.V. afterwards and we drove back via Death Valley, Yosemite and then up the coast via Hwy. 1 & 101. Thoroughly enjoyable trip - 3,300 miles in two weeks so the car has 9,700 miles in 7 months and counting. Death Valley - never experienced 127F before but it was a DRY heat...
Have a great time at Spring Mountain - maybe I'll meet you at one of the events around the Seattle area.

Well when I bought my 1st Corvette ( C 5) my wife and I joined a Corvette club nearby and met some great people of all ages and enjoyed some road trips ,car shows ,etc !!! Then I decided to get a new Corvette in 2014 but before I purchased it we traded the old one on a new car for her in the fall of 2013 !!! So things have worked out well !!! Our 2014 corvette was the 1st one in our Club so a lot of members asked me a lot of questions ,etc and now we have about 12 C7 Corvettes in the club !!! Wayne

I missed this thread in its original posting - cool story on the car & negotiations. It helps when the spouse takes a vested interest in the car!
