Two things that popped out:
1. The second number after the year identifier "F" is a "0" which probably is an indicator that the car was the first 2015 built for a GM staff personnel. Normal production cars, "non specialty" all begin with a "51" after the year code.
2. Still has a 2014 steering wheel (not flat bottom that came with 2015s).

Throw some numbers at me.
http://www.goodcarbadcar.net/2011/01...s-figures.html
lets play with one number first: corvette sales in total in the US for 2016: 29,995
subract from the number at this site
http://www.corvettemuseum.org/wp-con...ar-End-HWC.pdf
2016 US delivery Corvette production: 37,282
So, what happens when you make 7,000 more C7 Corvettes every year than you can sell?
GM starts gynormous rebates and special pricing deals on the 2016 overproduction to get them sold
GM cannibalizes sales of the next model year (2017) production during the first 8 months (Sept 2016-April 2017) of the next model year selling the "2016 Christmas cakes in January" for deep discount.
Then GM starts the same thing all over again for the 2017's with deep discounted, cannibalization of 2018 production with gynormous sales beginning in April 2017 of the 2017 overproduction
And just to peek at the overhang before final 2017 production/sales numbers hit the streets: go to cars.com, do a search of new vettes for sale (and, realizing that not every Chevrolet dealer puts his inventory on this website), you pull a very imprecise number off of it: 10,879 new 2017 vettes for sale, 800 new 2016 vettes for sale (as of April 22, 2017.) So over 25% of the estimated 2017 production (based on 2016 production stats) is still for sale two months before the end of production of the 2017 model year.
So what does all this have to do with the resale value of a 2015 vette?
I will speculate that the days of 80% resale value on C7 vettes are fading fast. Chevy used to make 25,000 vettes/year, and life was good for the Chevy dealers and owner trader inners/sellers (remember that US demand for 29,995 vettes.) But, with the ramped-up production of the C7, to a record 40,689 units last year, but with only 29,995 units sold in the 2016 calendar year (and some of those were 2015's and some were 2017's) there is simply going to be a glut of C7 vettes on the market. Which is great for new C7 vette buyers, but lousy for used C7 vette sellers.

I have '15 regular production VIN 5100006. The first 5 'regular' 15's were all white ( (I was there and saw them on the line during my plant tour) What you have there is the first '15 built, probably in April or May of 2014. It will list MVB on the build sheet as a build validation car.

That makes sense as I noted in post #3 above that my '14 was built 3 months after the '15 001 car, which is the subject of the OP.

If it was me, I'd take it to Barrett-Jackson and see if they can find another drunk person to dump $80k on this vehicle because of the low VIN!

Burning Brakes
EVERY 2014 Z51 listed on Autotrader today is listed for $50K +/- $3K. Every single one. Making allowance for haggling says they will probable sell for around $45K but not much less. The days of a $30K C7 are still YEARS away.

Nice ride ...my concern on that interior, while certainly unique, is that it would be a dirt magnet
