Default Heavy on Delivery pics/ Barn finds/Throwback pics 4/23/17 Mike Furman at Criswell****

~This coming week I fly into Bowling Green, KY for the Corvette Bash Tuesday eve and will be at the Corvette Museum and Plant thru Friday mid afternoon. Looking forward to seeing as many Forum members, customers and friends as I can. Never been? You should really try attending this Museum Event some time as you get to learn all about the upcoming model year info and see new colors etc...plus The Corvette Museum does a fantastic job for all their events. I have owned 18 Corvettes and have sold nearly 4,000...yet I still can't get enough of this Museum event...it's like the start of Spring for me. Check out my live Delivery video's on my Facebook page CorvetteFurman...enjoy the ride!

~John B. Of Chesterfield, Missouri has been buying his vehicles thru Costello Leasing for 30+ years which is local to him in St Louis. This time he wanted a 2017 Grand Sport Convt in Torch Red with Black top and Kalahari microfiber insert, red calipers, 7spd manual, 3LT Pkg. After the paperwork was completed we had Plycon Trucking deliver it right to John's driveway. All within 6 weeks which amazed the St Louis Leasing company!
>Words from the VP of the leasing company in St Louis..."I have been in the automobile leasing business for 30 years. Working with you on the purchase of a new Grand Sport Corvette was one of the easiest and best transactions I have ever had. You were simply amazing from inception to final delivery. First of all the pricing was something that I thought must be a mistake - I am a Corvette owner myself and wish I had known about you when I bought mine! None of the pricing you gave me in the beginning changed. There were no extra fees that you had not disclosed. The car arrived with everything ordered. The customer was thrilled. Your professional approach to keeping me informed of the progress from order initiation through build and delivery was exceptional. Everything was ahead of schedule. My customer was demanding (and very excited about the new vehicle) and I was able to keep him well informed throughout the process. The "white glove" delivery you promised from your shipper was just that. The car arrived on time and spotless and gently taken off the truck. All the little things that most dealers don't even think about, you did. Sending the photos of the car as it was coming of the truck from the factory was great. And even a video after it was prepped - inside and out. Amazing. It is obvious you care very much about the cars and your customers. I look forward to working with you again."

Costello Leasing and Sales
St. Louis, MO

~Ulises F. Of Lorton, Virginia picked out a 2017 Z06 Cpe in Admiral Blue with Black interior. He traded in his 2015 Camaro SS 1LE and he can't wait for dry weather. His new Z06 has the J57 Carbon ceramic brakes, 2LZ Pkg, 7 spd manual trans, black wheels, CF painted mirrors, Navigation and much more. One of the nicest guys in the world is one happy guy this weekend!!!

~Michael S. of Little Neck, New York called me 5 weeks ago to replace his yellow 14 Z51 Cpe for a new 2017 Z06 Cpe. I gave him a sight unseen trade value and the deal was made. Michael ordered Black with Red Comp seats, transparent roof, carbon fiber stage 2 Pkg, CF instr panel, 8spd auto trans, Black alum wheels, 3LZ Pkg and more. I installed the clear wicker bill before he took delivery. Michael left his house at 4am and was waiting for me as I arrived Monday at 8am. This was his birthday present to himself, can't get better then a new Z06!!

~Keith S. of Appleton, Wisconsin called me 7 weeks ago to start his order for Corvette Museum delivery. Keith just picked it up and the red carpet treatment at the Museum was top flight. Keith ordered a 1LT Race Yellow Grand Sport Cpe with red calipers, Heritage Pkg and much more!

~Jeff and Jake H. Of Fairfield, California factory ordered their dream Corvette. A 2017 Z06 Cpe in Watkins Glen Gray with two tone Dark Gray interior. Loaded with 3LZ Pkg, visible CF Hood insert, CF visible ground effects, visible CF roof panel, chrome badges, CF instrument panel, black calipers, 7spd manual trans, Chrome wheels, CF painted mirrors and much more!!
When Jake came back from his last tour he wanted to make sure his Father ordered his absolute dream Corvette and this Wednesday they took delivery at the Corvette Museum where the red carpet was rolled out for them.

~Other deliveries that left the yard...

~Last Saturday I visited a long time customer up in Sloatsburg, NY. He owns the top of the mountain that backs up to Harriman State park. His "Car Barn" is 5,000 square feet and even though he is a big Pontiac collector there are still a few cool Vettes there. He has a White 67 427/435 Cpe that was built 10 units from the end of production. He also has a Yellow 427/435 Convt and the Jetstream Blue ZR1 I sold him brand new.

~Yesterday a young enthusiast named Jamie G had an appt to test drive a C7...so I let him drive an A8 Grand Sport...I am sure his perma grin is in full force even today.

~My old mentor and boss Gary Konner and his 1995 ZR1 serial #1 with some special touches done by the factory.

~Barn finds, old ads and throwback pics...post up which one is your favorite...

~Hope to see you at an event some time...

~Adam and I teamed up a few years ago...anyone that buys a Vehicle from me gets a really nice Gift Certificate to Adam's Polishes. Adam's Polishes is the Official Polish of the Corvette Brand!

~Have a great Week!

Thanks Mike again for another week of great photos and stories to start peoples Sundays!

Congrats. to the new vehicle owners, Corvettes and other models alike everyone usually gets the vehicle which meets their needs

Again for me, the '63 Split Window photos are great, but also really like the Torch Red C7 GS convertible that went to the leasing company, and the blue C3 with the cool looking white stripes.

Have a great week, and a fun time at the bash this week, looking forward already to what you may post next week.

The company I work for corporate office is in Appleton, Wisconsin so I had to look closely at Keith S. to make sure he wasn't someone I know.

I am looking forward to your observations and comments from the Bash.

Have fun at the Bash.

This brings back memories.

My '74 had a Bob Wasserman decal on the rear facia. Growing up in Northern NJ, I remember seeing many of the Malcolm Konner decals on rear of Corvettes during the '70's and '80's.

My daughter loved her pink Barbie C4. Her big Christmas present of 1989.

Thanks for the memories Mike.

Another great week of pictures ! I have to go with the picture where it appears there was a building collapse and there is a few guy's looking around at all the damage, and if you look close there is one guy with a towel in his hand wiping down a corvette. I'm sure it was a bad day for them ,but the one guy still showing his love for the corvette.
