Default Carbon fiber rear spoiler?

I have a torch red stingray and regret not ordering the rear deck spoiler and now plan on adding a black one. A friend has a carbon fiber Z51 style I can buy. I' not going to add any other carbon fiber. Do you think the carbon fiber would look out of place, or should I buy the painted black metallic metallic?

I added a carbon fiber spoiler and will continue to add carbon fiber. In my personal opinion just a rear spoiler that is carbon fiber would look out of place. I do have a carbon flash metallic black spoiler for sale if you are interested.

You can never have enough carbon fiber in my opinion. You have to start somewhere but CF is a preference and not a look everyone thinks is worth the money.

is your hood carbon flash or exposed carbon fiber?

I would go with carbon fiber if it were me, you don't think so now, but you may want to do side skirts and splitter some day, and getting those in carbon fiber would really complete the look.

I think either going all Carbon Fiber or all Carbon Flash is the way to go. If your hood stripe is Carbon Flash, then I'd go that route. If your stripe is gloss black, I'd find a gloss black spoiler.

I wanted a rear spoiler that only came in Carbon Fiber and was unsure because I had Carbon Flash trim on the entire car. I wanted the Z06 style spoiler more than my concern of would the Carbon Fiber look out of place. I took the plunge and couldn't have made a better decision on the Carbon Fiber Z06 Style Spoiler on my Arctic White.

I heard the argument that it won't match and/or you will need to swtich everything Carbon Flash over to Carbon Fiber. I have NO DESIRE to switch out my Carbon Flash Side Mirrors, Side Skirts, Front Splitter, Hood Vent, Rear Upper Scoops that easily would cost me 4-5k that I would find better use with that money.

In summary, the Carbon Fiber Spoiler looks awesome and blends NICELY with the Carbon Flash on the rest of car and actually stands out as nice Focal Point on the Rear of the car!

Just do the carbon fiber wing! I used to have a carbon fiber wing on my old car before the 'Vette, and it was the only carbon fiber piece on it, but it still got plenty of compliments and didn't look out of place at all! Makes a nice focal point like KGrant said!

Go with the Carbon Fiber - I think it will look very good on the car, even with other things in carbon flash.

My stinger is carbon flash. The carbon fiber looks great and I'm leaning toward going that way.

If anything, go with carbon flash. Carbon fiber looks like corduroy...

I like the look of KGrant and Jbnick's carbon fiber spoilers. If I don't like it I could paint it carbon flash, but that's not likely.

I think Carbon Flash and Carbon Fiber go well together. Get the Carbon Fiber spoiler.
